Setup Instructions

  1. Attach Brackets: Insert the extendable stainless steel brackets into the ends of the LED light fixture. Ensure they are securely fitted.
  2. Position Light: Place the light fixture on top of your aquarium. Adjust the extendable brackets to fit the width of your tank (suitable for 12-18 inch tanks, both rimmed and rimless). Each end can extend up to 4 inches (10 cm).
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The controller is located on the power cord.

Operating Instructions

The controller allows for various lighting modes and adjustments.

1. 24/7 AUTO Mode

  • Press the AUTO button to activate the 24/7 automatic daylight simulation mode.
  • To set the current time for the AUTO mode, press the AUTO button repeatedly to cycle through the preset times (8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00, 23:00). Select the time closest to your current time. The light will then automatically follow the simulated daylight cycle daily.
  • To exit AUTO mode, short press the Timer button twice.

2. Timer Function (6H/9H/12H/24H)

  • Press the Timer button (represented by a clock icon) to cycle through preset lighting durations: 6 hours, 9 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours (always on).
  • The light will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
  • To turn off the timer function, cycle through the options until no timer indicator is lit.

3. 10-Level Brightness Adjustment

  • To adjust brightness, press and hold the Brightness button (represented by a sun icon) for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes.
  • Once flashing, short press the Brightness button to cycle through 10 levels of brightness (10% to 100%).
  • Release the button when the desired brightness is reached.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the light fixture with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or water spots. Ensure the light is unplugged before cleaning.
  • Water Exposure: This aquarium light is splash resistant (IPX4) but is not designed to be submerged in water. Avoid direct contact with water beyond splashes.
  • Cable Care: Ensure the power cable is not kinked or pinched. Keep it away from water sources.

Troubleshooting

  • Light Not Turning On: Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into both the light and the electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is functional.
  • Incorrect Timing/Brightness: Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section to re-set the timer or brightness levels. Ensure you are pressing and holding the brightness button for 5 seconds until it flashes for adjustment.
  • Flickering Light: Unplug the light, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. If flickering persists, contact customer support.
