3. Safety Information

4. Setup Instructions

The HITOP aquarium light features a multi-function controller on the power cord for easy operation.

5.1 Controller Overview

  • AUTO Button: Activates the 24/7 automatic lighting cycle.
  • Timer Buttons (6H, 9H, 12H, 24H): Sets the duration for the light to remain on.
  • Brightness Adjustment Buttons (+/-): Adjusts the light intensity across 10 levels.
  • Power Button: Turns the light on or off.

5.2 24/7 AUTO Mode

The AUTO Mode simulates a natural 24-hour daylight cycle, gradually changing brightness throughout the day. Once set, the light will automatically cycle daily without further intervention.

  1. Press the AUTO button on the controller.
  2. Select the time setting closest to your current local time (e.g., 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00, 23:00) to synchronize the cycle.
  3. The light will then follow the programmed 24-hour cycle, simulating sunrise, daylight, sunset, and nighttime.

5.3 Timer Function

To set a fixed lighting duration, use the timer buttons:

  • Press the desired timer button (6H, 9H, 12H, or 24H) to set the lighting duration.
  • The light will remain on for the selected period and then turn off. This cycle will repeat daily.

5.4 10-Level Brightness Adjustment

Adjust the light intensity to suit your aquarium's needs:

  • Use the + button to increase brightness.
  • Use the - button to decrease brightness.
  • There are 10 distinct brightness levels available.
