Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure the rubber plug at the bottom of the water tank is removed before first use.
- Water Tank: Fill the removable 1.3-liter water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Ensure the tank is securely placed back into the machine.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to run a few cycles of hot water through the machine without coffee to clean internal components.

Operating Instructions
1. Preheating
- Plug in the machine and press the power button.
- The indicator lights for single and double shots will flash, indicating the machine is preheating.
- Once the lights become solid, the machine is preheated and ready for use.
2. Grinding and Tamping
- Select the appropriate filter basket (single or double, pressurized or non-pressurized) and place it in the 51mm portafilter.
- Fill the filter basket with freshly ground coffee. For optimal extraction, use a fine grind suitable for espresso.
- Use the included tamper to press the coffee grounds evenly and firmly. Wipe away any excess grounds from the rim of the portafilter.

3. Espresso Extraction
- Attach the portafilter to the group head and twist it firmly to the right until it locks into place.
- Place your cup(s) on the drip tray beneath the portafilter.
- Press the single or double shot button to begin extraction. The intelligent display shows real-time temperature and brewing details.
- You can customize brew temperature (194°F-204°F), water volume (25-150ml for single, 50-300ml for double), and pre-infusion time (0-10s) using the control panel.
- Monitor the pressure gauge during extraction; the needle should ideally be in the green zone for balanced flavors.

4. Milk Frothing
- Turn the steam knob to activate the steam wand. The steam temperature ranges from 257°F-302°F.
- Submerge the steam wand into a pitcher of cold milk. Turn the knob to release steam and froth the milk to your desired texture.
- The 270° swivel steam wand offers flexibility, and the removable tip simplifies cleaning.
- Pro-Tip: Pull your espresso shots before frothing milk to prevent the machine from triggering the 'Hot' protection mode. If activated, follow the troubleshooting steps to cool the system.

Maintenance
- Drip Tray: Regularly empty and clean the drip tray. The red float indicator will rise when the tray is full.
- Steam Wand: After each use, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and purge a small amount of steam to clear any milk residue.
- Descaling: Periodically descale the machine according to the instructions in the full user manual to prevent mineral buildup.
