1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
3. Inspect the unit for any damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

3.2 Placement

1. Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
2. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 5 inches of space on all sides).
3. Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

3.3 Initial Preparation

1. Before plugging in, allow the ice maker to stand upright for a minimum of 2 hours. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
2. Clean the interior of the ice maker and the ice basket with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

3.4 Filling the Water Reservoir

1. Open the top lid of the ice maker.
2. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the maximum fill line. The reservoir has a capacity of 1.1 liters.
3. Close the lid securely.

4. Operation

4.1 Making Ice

1. After initial setup and filling the water reservoir, plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Press the 'ON/OFF' button once to start the ice making cycle. The unit will begin producing ice within approximately 7 minutes.
3. The ice maker can produce up to 35 pounds of nugget ice per day.
4. The first few batches of ice may be smaller or less firm. This is normal as the system adjusts to optimal operating temperature. Discard the first few batches if desired.

4.2 Understanding Indicators

• ADD WATER: When this indicator illuminates, the water reservoir is low. Refill the reservoir with potable water. The ice making process will resume automatically once water is added.
• ICE FULL: When this indicator illuminates, the ice basket is full. The ice making process will pause. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.

4.3 Nugget Ice Characteristics

The ice maker produces soft, crunchy, and chewable nugget ice, which is ideal for various beverages such as cocktails, smoothies, and iced drinks. This type of ice chills drinks quickly and is enjoyable to chew.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Self-Cleaning Function

The ice maker is equipped with an automatic self-cleaning function to simplify maintenance.

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
2. Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for 5 seconds. The unit will enter self-cleaning mode.
3. The cleaning cycle will run automatically. Once complete, drain any remaining water from the unit.

5.2 Regular Cleaning

1. Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
2. Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Clean the interior of the water reservoir and ice storage area with a soft cloth and a mild, food-safe cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.
4. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and operating the unit.

5.3 Storage

If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, perform a thorough cleaning, drain all water, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
