Setup Guide
Download the App:
Search for the "Smart Endoscope" app in your device's app store (Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android). Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided on the back of the otoscope packaging to download and install the application. Ensure your device meets the minimum system requirements for the app.
Connect the Device:
The NTE100i connects to your mobile device via a wired connection using the provided lighting cable. Connect the appropriate adapter (Micro-USB to Type-C or Micro-USB to Lightning) to the otoscope's cable, then plug it into your smartphone or tablet. This wired connection ensures a stable and reliable image transmission without the need for Wi-Fi pairing.

Power On:
Once connected, the device should power on automatically. If not, ensure the connection is secure. The device draws power directly from your mobile device.
Operating Instructions
Launch the App:
Open the "Smart Endoscope" app on your connected mobile device. The live camera feed from the otoscope should appear on your screen.
Adjust LED Lighting:
The otoscope features six built-in LED lights to illuminate the inspection area. These lights are adjustable with 3 levels of brightness. Use the controls within the app to adjust the brightness to achieve optimal visibility.

Achieve Optimal Focus:
The 4.3mm ultra-slim camera has a fixed focus at 2-3 cm (approximately 1 inch). To achieve sharp focus, gently adjust the distance between the camera lens and the area you are inspecting (e.g., the eardrum). Maintain this distance for the clearest image.
Capture Photos and Videos:
Use the dedicated buttons within the "Smart Endoscope" app to capture still images (photos) or record video footage of your inspection. Captured media will be saved directly to your device's gallery or the app's internal storage.
Using Ear Spoons and Specula:
For ear wax removal, attach one of the provided ear spoons or specula to the otoscope tip. Exercise extreme caution and gentleness when inserting the device into the ear canal. Always ensure you have a clear view of the area to avoid injury. Two adult-size and two pediatric-size silicone ear spoons are included for comfort and safety.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Camera Tip and Accessories:
After each use, especially when used for ear or nose inspection, gently clean the camera tip and any attached ear spoons or specula. Use a soft cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol or an antiseptic wipe. Ensure the tip is completely dry before storage. Do not submerge the main unit in water.
