2. Safety Information

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the main pot, lid, measuring cup, and tea strainer with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not wash the power base.
  3. Assemble: Place the main pot onto the power base, ensuring it is securely seated. Align the handle of the pot with the corresponding slot on the base.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (100V).

5. Operating Instructions

The KEECOON KC-BL-15 features 14 versatile modes for various preparations. Always refer to the included recipe book for specific ingredient quantities and preparation steps for each mode.

Basic Operation:

  1. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the main pot. Ensure the total volume is above the 400ml minimum mark and below the maximum fill line for the selected mode.
  2. Secure Lid: Close the lid firmly, ensuring it is properly aligned and locked.
  3. Select Mode: Turn the knob on the power base to select your desired cooking mode. The LED display will show the selected mode.
  4. Start: Press the knob to start the cooking process. The appliance will automatically begin operation.

  • 2-Hour Keep Warm: After cooking, the appliance can keep food warm for up to 2 hours. The temperature can be adjusted between 55°C and 90°C in 5°C increments.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your appliance.

High-Temperature Cleaning Mode:

The appliance features a high-temperature cleaning mode for thorough sanitation.

  1. Add Cleaning Agent: Add 10-20g of sodium percarbonate (oxygen bleach) to the main pot.
  2. Add Hot Water: Pour hot water (approx. 90°C) up to the 800ml mark.
  3. Soak: Let it soak for about 30 minutes.
  4. Discard Solution: Carefully pour out the cleaning solution.
  5. Rinse: Add clean water to the pot.
  6. Run Cleaning Mode: Select the "High-Temperature Cleaning" mode and start.
  7. Scrub (if needed): If stains remain after the cycle, use the provided cleaning brush to gently scrub them off.
  8. Final Rinse: Rinse the pot 2-3 times with clean water to ensure no detergent residue remains.

Lid and Accessories Cleaning:

  1. Remove Lid: Hold the pot handle with one hand and slowly lift the lid with the other to release steam.
  2. Disassemble Lid: Remove the sealing ring. Hold the lid cover with one hand and grasp the protrusion on the inside of the lid with the other hand to pull it apart.
  3. Wash: Use a sponge with diluted kitchen neutral detergent to wash the lid components and tea strainer. Rinse thoroughly with water.
  4. Soak (for stubborn stains): If the lid, sealing ring, or tea strainer are heavily soiled, soak them in a sodium percarbonate solution for a few minutes before scrubbing.
  5. Dry: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing.

External Cleaning:

Wipe the exterior of the power base and main pot with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the power base in water.
