Important Safety Instructions

Before First Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the air fryer.
2. Clean Components: Wash the removable cooking baskets and crisper plates with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit can be wiped with a damp cloth.
3. Initial Run (Optional): To eliminate any manufacturing odors, you may run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Ensure good ventilation during this process.
4. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper air circulation.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The Ströme Double Door Air Fryer offers versatile cooking options with its dual baskets and digital controls.

Power On/Off

• To turn on, plug the appliance into a power outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
• To turn off, press and hold the power button (usually represented by a play/pause icon) for a few seconds, or unplug the unit.

Basic Air Frying

1. Place food in one or both cooking baskets. Do not overfill.
2. Insert the baskets back into the main unit.
3. Select the desired basket (1 or 2) on the touchscreen.
4. Adjust the temperature (40°C to 200°C) and time (1 minute to 12 hours, with specific limits under 80°C) using the Temp/Time arrows.
5. Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
6. Shake or flip food halfway through cooking for even results. The unit may beep to remind you.

Using Preset Programs

The air fryer comes with 8 preset programs for common dishes:

• Grill
• Bake
• Dehydrate
• Roast
• Broil
• Reheat
• Bagel
• Keep Warm

To use a preset program:

1. Place food in the basket(s).
2. Select the desired basket (1 or 2).
3. Press the corresponding preset icon on the touchscreen. The default time and temperature will display.
4. You can adjust the time and temperature manually if needed.
5. Press Start/Pause to begin.

Dual Zone Functionality

This air fryer features two independent cooking zones, allowing you to cook different foods at different temperatures and times. It also includes special functions for synchronized cooking.

• Sync Finish: This function ensures both baskets finish cooking at the same time, even if they have different cooking times and temperatures. Set up each basket's program, then select 'Sync Finish'. The air fryer will automatically adjust the start times.
• Match Cook: This function allows you to quickly apply the same cooking settings (time and temperature) to both baskets. Set the desired program for one basket, then select 'Match Cook' to duplicate it for the other.

Cooking Tips

• For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes before adding food.
• Do not overcrowd the baskets. Cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
• Lightly spray or brush food with oil for extra crispiness, especially for fresh vegetables or homemade fries.
• Shake the baskets or flip food every 5-10 minutes for even browning.
• Use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature of meats for food safety.
• For recipes requiring longer cooking times at lower temperatures (e.g., dehydrating), refer to specific recipe guidelines.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.

1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Clean Baskets and Crisper Plates: The removable cooking baskets and crisper plates are Teflon-coated and can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. They are also dishwasher safe. Avoid using abrasive cleaning pads or metal utensils, as these can damage the non-stick coating.
3. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
4. Clean Heating Element: If necessary, gently clean the heating element with a soft brush to remove any food residue.
5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the air fryer in a cool, dry place.
