Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the metal five-star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled five-star base. Ensure it is seated securely.
3. Attach Seat Plate to Seat Cushion: Secure the seat plate mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the seat plate faces the front of the seat cushion.
4. Connect Armrests to Seat Cushion: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly for the flip-up function.
5. Attach Backrest to Seat Cushion/Armrests: Connect the backrest to the seat cushion and/or armrest brackets using the provided screws. Ensure the backrest is firmly secured.
6. Place Assembled Top onto Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat, backrest, and armrest unit onto the gas lift cylinder, aligning the center hole of the seat plate with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.

4. Operating Instructions

Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height (range: 48-56.8 cm):

• To raise the seat: Lift the lever located under the right side of the seat while taking your weight off the seat. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever at the desired height.
• To lower the seat: Lift the lever located under the right side of the seat while remaining seated. The seat will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

Backrest Rocking Function

The backrest can rock between 90° and 125°:

• To enable rocking: Pull out the lever located under the right side of the seat (the same lever used for height adjustment). The backrest will now allow for a gentle rocking motion.
• To lock the backrest in an upright position: Push the lever back in.

Flip-up Armrests

The armrests can be flipped up by 90° to save space:

• To flip up: Gently lift each armrest upwards until it locks into the vertical position.
• To lower: Gently pull each armrest downwards until it returns to the horizontal position.

Lumbar Support Adjustment

The integrated lumbar support can be adjusted to provide optimal comfort:

• To adjust: Locate the knob or lever on the back of the chair (as indicated in Image 1). Adjust it to move the lumbar support up or down, or to increase/decrease its protrusion, according to your preference.
