Important Safety Instructions

Setup and Assembly

1. Assembling the Vacuum

  1. Attach the Extension Wand: Insert the top end of the extension wand into the main vacuum unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Attach the Floor Brush: Insert the bottom end of the extension wand into the motorized floor brush until it clicks securely.
  3. Install Battery: If not pre-installed, slide the detachable lithium-ion battery into the battery slot on the main vacuum unit until it locks.
  4. Handheld Configuration: For handheld use, detach the extension wand and floor brush. Attach desired accessories (crevice tool or dusting brush) directly to the main vacuum unit.

2. Charging the Battery

  • Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the wall mount/charging dock.
  • Mount the vacuum cleaner onto the charging dock. Ensure the battery contacts align.
  • Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The charging indicator lights on the vacuum will illuminate to show charging status.
  • A full charge provides up to 50 minutes of runtime (15 minutes in High Mode).

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off and Suction Modes

  • Power On: Press the power button once to turn on the vacuum. It will start in Mid Mode by default.
  • Change Suction Mode: Press the mode button to cycle through suction modes: Mid Mode (default) and High Mode.
  • Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the vacuum.

2. Cleaning Different Surfaces

  • Hard Floors: Use Mid Mode for general cleaning. The motorized floor brush is effective on hardwood, tile, and laminate.
  • Carpets: For deeper cleaning on carpets and rugs, switch to High Mode to utilize the maximum 20.3kPa suction power.
  • Pet Hair: Both modes are effective for pet hair, with High Mode providing extra power for embedded hair.
  • Car Interiors & Upholstery: Detach the extension wand and use the crevice tool for tight spaces or the dusting brush for upholstery and delicate surfaces.

3. Using Attachments

  • Crevice Tool: Ideal for narrow gaps, corners, and edges.
  • Dusting Brush: Suitable for cleaning delicate surfaces, curtains, and keyboards.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Eureka ReactiClean 410.

1. Emptying the Dust Cup

  • It is recommended to empty the dust cup after each use or when the MAX fill line is reached.
  • Press the dust cup release button to detach it from the main unit.
  • Open the dust cup lid and empty contents into a trash bin.
  • Reattach the dust cup securely.

2. Cleaning and Replacing Filters

The ReactiClean 410 features a 5-stage filtration system, including a washable sponge filter and a washable HEPA filter, which trap 99.99% of particles as small as 0.1µm.

  • Washable Sponge Filter:
    • Cleaning: Clean monthly. Remove the filter from the dust cup. Rinse with water until clean.
    • Drying: Air dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours before reinstalling. Ensure it is completely dry to prevent mold or damage.
    • Replacement: Replace every 3 months, or more frequently depending on usage.
  • Washable HEPA Filter:
    • Cleaning: Clean every 6 months. Remove the HEPA filter. Rinse with water.
    • Drying: Air dry thoroughly for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
    • Replacement: Replace yearly, or more frequently depending on usage.

3. Cleaning the Brush Roll

  • Periodically check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris.
  • Turn off and unplug the vacuum.
  • Remove the brush roll cover (refer to diagram in full manual if available).
  • Carefully cut and remove any tangled hair or fibers using scissors.
  • Reinstall the brush roll and cover.
