Initial Operation (Burn-off):

During the first few uses, a slight odor or light smoke may be emitted. This is normal and will dissipate quickly. To minimize this, you can perform an initial "burn-off" cycle:

  2. Press the Menu/Program Selection button (often represented by multiple icons or a specific 'M' button) repeatedly to cycle through the available pre-set programs (e.g., Fries, Chicken, Fish, Steak, Cake, Shrimp, Pizza, Vegetables, Toast, etc.).
  3. Once you select a program, the default time and temperature for that program will display.
  4. You can adjust the time and temperature manually using the temperature (+/-) and time (+/-) buttons if desired.
  5. Press the Start/Pause button (▶/‖) to begin cooking.

Manual Cooking:

  1. Press the Power button (U).

  4. Press the Start/Pause button (▶/‖) to begin cooking.

During Cooking:

  • Viewing Window: Monitor your food's progress through the viewing window without opening the basket.
  • Shaking/Turning Food: For even cooking, especially with smaller items, you may need to shake or turn the food halfway through the cooking time. Carefully pull out the basket, shake or turn the contents, and then slide the basket back in. The air fryer will automatically resume cooking.
  • Pausing: Press the Start/Pause button (▶/‖) to pause cooking. Press it again to resume.

Ending Cooking:

When the cooking time is complete, the air fryer will beep, and the heating element will turn off. Carefully pull out the basket and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Use tongs to remove the cooked food. Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet after use.

6. Cooking Tips

  • Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes before adding food.
  • Oil Usage: While air frying requires minimal oil, a light spray or toss with a small amount of oil can enhance crispiness and flavor, especially for fresh vegetables or homemade fries.
  • Batch Cooking: Avoid overcrowding the basket. Cook food in smaller batches if necessary to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
  • Frozen Foods: Most frozen foods can be cooked directly in the air fryer. Refer to package instructions for recommended temperatures and times, adjusting as needed.
  • Homemade Fries: For crispy homemade fries, soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat them completely dry before tossing with a small amount of oil and seasoning.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.

After Each Use:

  1. Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove the air fryer basket and crisper plate. Wash them with hot water, mild dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. They are also dishwasher-safe.
  3. For stubborn food residue, soak the basket and crisper plate in hot water with dish soap for about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  5. Clean the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Ensure no water enters the heating element area.
