4.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials from the coffee machine.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  3. Wash the glass jug, lid, and reusable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  4. Before first use, operate the coffee machine with only water (no coffee) for two full cycles to clean the internal components. Fill the water tank to the MAX level, place the empty jug on the heating plate, and switch on. Discard the water after each cycle.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the coffee machine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  • Keep it away from walls, cabinets, and other appliances to prevent steam damage.
  • Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in a position where it can be tripped over.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to brew a perfect cup of coffee:

  1. Fill Water Tank: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired level, indicated by the transparent water level indicator. Do not exceed the MAX line.
  2. Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable filter (or a paper filter) into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee using the provided measuring spoon. A general guideline is one level spoon per cup, but adjust to your taste.

  9. Switch Off: After serving, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power outlet.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee machine.

6.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wash the glass jug, lid, and reusable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are generally dishwasher safe (top rack), but hand washing is recommended for longevity.
  • Wipe the exterior of the coffee machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

  2. Place the empty glass jug on the heating plate.
  3. Switch on the appliance and let it complete half of a brewing cycle.
  4. Switch off the appliance and let it stand for 15-20 minutes to allow the descaling solution to work.
  5. Switch the appliance back on and let it complete the remaining brewing cycle.
  6. Discard the descaling solution.
  7. Run at least two full cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse out any residual descaling solution.
