Setup

1. Placement: Place the Litter Robot on a firm, level surface indoors, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for proper ventilation and access.
2. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the unit and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will perform an initial calibration cycle.
3. Add Litter: Fill the globe with clumping cat litter, ensuring the litter level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines indicated inside the globe. Do not overfill.
4. Install Waste Bag: Open the waste drawer and insert one of the provided garbage bags. Ensure the bag is properly secured to prevent leaks.
5. App Connection (Optional):

Operating Instructions

Automatic Cleaning Cycle

The Litter Robot is designed to automatically clean itself after your cat uses it. A sensor detects when your cat enters and exits the globe. After a preset delay (Wait Time), the globe will rotate, sifting waste into the waste drawer.

• Wait Time: The delay before a cleaning cycle begins. This allows clumps to form properly. Adjust this setting via the app (e.g., 6 minutes).
• Usage Tracking: The app displays usage statistics such as cat weight, duration of use, and number of uses.

Manual Operation via App

The companion app provides additional control over the unit:

• CLEAN: Initiates a cleaning cycle immediately.
• CLEAR: Resets certain settings or clears error notifications.
• Child Lock: Activates or deactivates a safety lock feature to prevent unintended operation.

Maintenance

Emptying the Waste Drawer

1. When the waste drawer is full, the app will notify you, or you may observe a full indicator on the unit.
2. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
3. Pull out the waste drawer.
4. Carefully remove the full garbage bag, tie it securely, and dispose of it.
5. Insert a new garbage bag into the drawer and push the drawer back into the unit until it clicks into place.
6. Plug the unit back in.

Cleaning the Unit
