1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your Fitop Permanent Outdoor RGB LED Strip Lights. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and retain it for future reference.

Safety Information

  • Ensure the control box is protected in a dry location to prevent water damage, despite the lights being IP67 rated.
  • Do not exceed the maximum extendable length of 200FT when connecting multiple sets. An upgraded adapter is required for extension.
  • Verify all connections are secure before powering on the lights.
  • Operate within the specified temperature range of -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C).

2. Package Contents

3. Installation

3.1 Pre-Installation Check

Before permanent installation, it is recommended to test the lights. Connect all components and plug them into a power outlet to ensure proper functionality. This step helps identify any issues before mounting.

3.2 Connecting Components

Follow these steps to connect the light segments and power supply:

  1. Align Notches: Align the notches on the power adapter and control box. Press them together and twist the cap firmly to secure the connection.
  2. Connect Control Box to Light String: Connect the control box to the first light string by matching the plugs and twisting the caps firmly to avoid any loose contact.
  3. Link Light Segments: Link the 50ft light segments by connecting the built-in plugs and twisting the caps to lock them securely. (Note: 50ft models skip this step as they are a single segment).
  4. Power On: Plug the power adapter into an outlet and turn on the lights to check if everything is working properly. Ensure all connectors are fully tightened.

3.3 Mounting on Wall

You can choose between temporary mounting with 3M adhesive or permanent mounting with screws:

  1. Position Lights: Mount the lights 2-4 inches away from the wall for optimal light projection.
  2. Clean Surface: Wipe the surface clean before applying the adhesive.
  3. Peel Backing: Peel off the 3M adhesive backing on the light strip.
  4. Press Firmly: Press the strip firmly onto the surface for at least 5 seconds.
  5. Secure with Screws: For permanent installation, secure each light point with the provided screws.
  6. End Cap: Tightly screw on the end cap of the last section to ensure weather resistance.

4. Operation

Your Fitop Permanent Outdoor Lights can be controlled via a remote control or a smartphone application.

4.1 Remote Control Functions

The included remote control allows for basic and advanced light adjustments:

  • On/Off: Power the lights on or off.
  • Mode Switching: Cycle through various pre-programmed lighting modes.
  • Speed Adjustment: Adjust the speed of dynamic lighting effects.
  • Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease the light intensity.
  • RGB Single Color: Select specific red, green, or blue colors.
  • Warm White/Cool White: Switch between warm and cool white light options.
  • Timer Setting: Set a timer for 1h, 2h, 3h, or 4h.
  • Music Mode: Activate music synchronization.
  • Child Lock: Lock the remote to prevent accidental changes.

4.2 App Control (Bluetooth)

The lights can be controlled via the Surp Life app, available on Google Play and the App Store. No Wi-Fi is required for control, as it uses a stable Bluetooth connection.

  • Download App: Search for "Surp Life" in your device's app store.
  • Pairing: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your lights via Bluetooth.
  • Color Options: Access over 16 million colors for personalized ambiance.
  • Dynamic Scenes: Choose from 48 pre-programmed modes or create custom scenes.
  • Music Sync: Utilize the music mode to synchronize lights with audio.
  • Scheduling: Set schedules for automatic on/off times and scene changes.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the light surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Control Box Protection: Regularly inspect the control box to ensure it remains in a dry, weather-protected location.
  • Connection Check: Periodically check all connections for tightness and signs of wear or damage.
  • Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, disconnect them from power, clean them, and store them in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting
