5. Installation Guide
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety. Follow these steps carefully.
5.1 Control Panel Overview
Familiarize yourself with the control panel and its functions before making connections.

Figure 5.1: Labeled control panel instructions.
5.2 Wiring Connections
There are two primary methods for connecting the audio input: low-level (RCA) or high-level (speaker wire). Do not connect both high-level and low-level inputs simultaneously.
5.2.1 Power and Ground Connections
- Connect the +12V Power Cable (red) to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery. Ensure the fuse holder is installed in series, close to the battery.
- Connect the Ground Cable (black) to a clean, unpainted metal surface on the vehicle's chassis. Ensure a secure connection for proper grounding.
- Connect the REM Control Switch (blue wire) to the remote turn-on output of your head unit. This wire signals the amplifier to turn on and off with your stereo.
Video 5.1: Subwoofer Wiring Instructions, demonstrating the connection process for power, ground, and remote wires.
5.2.2 Low-Level Input (RCA) Connection
Use this method if your head unit has RCA pre-out connections.
- Connect the provided RCA Input Cables to the 'LOW LEVEL' RCA inputs on the subwoofer and the corresponding RCA pre-outs on your head unit.

Figure 5.2: Low-level input connection using RCA cables.
5.2.3 High-Level Input Connection
Use this method if your head unit does not have RCA pre-out connections. The included High-to-Low Level Converter is used for this purpose.
- Connect the speaker wires from your head unit's speaker outputs to the High-to-Low Level Converter.
- Connect the output of the converter to the 'HIGH LEVEL' input on the subwoofer.

Figure 5.3: High-level input connection using the provided converter.
5.3 Mounting the Subwoofer
Choose a secure location for the subwoofer, such as under a seat or in the trunk. Use the provided mounting brackets and screws to firmly attach the unit to the vehicle's structure. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
6. Operation
6.1 Audio Adjustments
Use the controls on the subwoofer's panel to fine-tune the audio output:
- Low Pass Filter (LPF): Adjusts the upper frequency limit for the subwoofer (50-150Hz). Set it to blend smoothly with your main speakers.
- Bass Boost: Increases the bass output at a specific frequency (0-24dB). Use sparingly to avoid distortion.
- Gain Input: Matches the input sensitivity of the subwoofer to the output of your head unit. Start low and gradually increase until desired volume is reached without distortion.
- Phase Transfer Switch: Adjusts the phase (0° or 180°) to ensure the subwoofer's output is in sync with your main speakers. Listen to both settings and choose the one that provides the most impactful bass.
6.2 Remote Volume Control
The included wired remote control allows for convenient adjustment of the bass level from the driver's seat.
- Connect the remote control cable to the 'REMOTE CONTROL' port on the subwoofer.
- Use the knob to increase or decrease the subwoofer's output level.
6.3 RGB Lighting Control
The subwoofer features beat-synced RGB ambient lighting. Control modes and brightness can be adjusted via a wireless remote or a dedicated smartphone application (refer to app instructions if applicable).
7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your subwoofer, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Regularly inspect all wiring connections for tightness and corrosion.
- Keep the subwoofer clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the cooling fins are free from dust and debris to maintain efficient heat dissipation.
- Check the fuse periodically and replace it only with a fuse of the same type and rating (15A).
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your subwoofer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Figure 8.1: Troubleshooting steps for issues 1-5.

Figure 8.2: Troubleshooting steps for issues 6-9.
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Amplifier does not start:
- Check ground wire connection.
- Verify positive battery voltage.
- Ensure REM voltage is not lower than 5VDC.
- Confirm positive power terminal voltage is +12V.
- Check for damaged fuses.
- Confirm protection indicator is off; if on, restart amplifier.
- Protection indicator light is on after amplifier starts:
- Check speaker terminals for short circuit.
- Turn down volume potentiometer for overload protection.
- Remove horn connecting line and restart amplifier.
- No output:
- Check for damaged fuses.
- Ensure amplifier is properly grounded.
- Amplifier startup voltage should not be lower than 5VDC.
- Check RCA audio cable or high frequency input cable connections.
- Verify speaker cable connection.
- Low power output:
- Reset the volume potentiometer.
- Check that the filter potentiometer is in the correct position.
- Disconnect the signal input line; if noise disappears, the problem is with the signal source.
- Turn the volume potentiometer of the power amplifier as low as possible, and turn up the volume of the host as much as possible (do not distort).
- Distortion:
- Check the size of the power amplifier volume potentiometer.
- Check the size of the filter potentiometer.
- Power amplifier is overheating:
- Check if speaker impedance is lower than the indicated impedance of the amplifier.
- Check the installation location of the amplifier for adequate ventilation.
- Engine noise:
- Check if RCA signal line is not connected to the chassis.
- Check that the host is properly grounded.
