4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

1. Connect the provided power cable to the power cable port on the back of the clock.
2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will power on and display the default time.

Note: The clock requires continuous power to operate. The internal battery is for memory function only, ensuring settings are retained during power outages.

4.2 Installation

The clock can be either wall-mounted or placed on a desk.

4.2.1 Desk Placement

• Insert the detachable stand into the stand jack on the back of the clock.
• Place the clock on a flat, stable surface.

4.2.2 Wall Mounting

• Locate the two hook holes on the back of the clock.
• Use appropriate screws (not included) to secure the clock to a wall. Ensure the screws are firmly anchored and can support the clock's weight.

5. Operating Instructions

All settings can be adjusted using the included remote control.

5.1 Setting Time and Date

1. Press the SET button on the remote control to enter setting mode.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
3. Press SET again to move to the next setting parameter.
4. Once all settings are complete, press the EXIT button to save and exit setting mode.

5.2 Setting Alarms

The clock supports two independent alarms.

1. Press the ALARM button (often labeled with a bell icon) on the remote control.
2. Use UP and DOWN to set the desired alarm time.
3. Press ALARM again to confirm the time and move to the next alarm or to enable/disable the alarm.
4. Repeat for the second alarm if needed.
5. To activate or deactivate an alarm, press the ALARM button until the alarm indicator (e.g., AL1, AL2) appears or disappears on the display.

5.3 Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button on the remote control to temporarily silence the alarm. The snooze duration can be set from 1 to 99 minutes.

1. To set the snooze duration, enter alarm setting mode (refer to 5.2).
2. After setting the alarm time, you may find an option to set the snooze duration. Use UP and DOWN to adjust.
3. Confirm with SET or EXIT.

5.4 Adjusting Brightness

The clock offers 3 levels of brightness and an option to turn off the screen completely.

• Press the LIGHT button (often labeled with a sun icon) on the remote control to cycle through brightness levels (100%, 60%, 30%, Off).

5.5 12/24 Hour Mode and Temperature Unit (°C/°F)

• Press the 12/24H button on the remote control to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
• Press the °C/°F button on the remote control to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

6. Maintenance

• Clean the clock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid exposing the clock to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
• If the clock will not be used for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet. The internal battery will maintain settings.
