1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the BOSWELL 7.5QT Glass Air Fryer. This appliance is designed to provide a healthier way to cook your favorite foods, utilizing 360° hot air circulation for even cooking with less oil. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and optimal operation. Keep these instructions for future reference.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.

3. Setup

Unpacking and First Use

  1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  2. Wash the glass cooking basket and crisper plate with hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.
  5. Before first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to eliminate any manufacturing odors.

4. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  1. Place the crisper plate inside the glass cooking basket.
  2. Add your food to the cooking basket. Do not overfill.
  3. Slide the cooking basket securely into the main unit.
  4. Plug the air fryer into a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Press the Power button to turn on the display.
  6. Select a preset cooking function or manually set the temperature and time.
  7. Press the Start button to begin cooking.
  8. The air fryer will automatically shut off when the timer expires. Carefully remove the basket using the handle.

Using Presets

The air fryer comes with 5 pre-programmed settings for common foods:

  • Seafood: Optimized for fish and shrimp.
  • Fries: Ideal for crispy French fries.
  • Steak: Perfect for searing and cooking steaks.
  • Chicken: Suitable for chicken pieces or a whole small chicken.
  • Bake: For baking small items like pastries or desserts.

Simply press the corresponding icon on the control panel to activate a preset. The air fryer will automatically set the recommended time and temperature. You can adjust these settings manually after selecting a preset if desired.

Manual Mode

For foods not covered by presets, use manual mode:

  1. Press the TEMP button to adjust the temperature (range: 180°F - 400°F / 80°C - 200°C).
  2. Press the TIME button to adjust the cooking time (range: 1-60 minutes).
  3. Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease values.
  4. Press Start to begin cooking.

Cooking Tips

  • For best results, shake the basket or flip food halfway through cooking, especially for smaller items like fries or wings. The air fryer may have a 'Flip Reminder' feature.
  • Lightly spray food with oil for extra crispiness, but avoid excessive oil.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary to ensure even air circulation.
  • Always use insulated gloves when handling the hot glass basket.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your BOSWELL Glass Air Fryer.

Cleaning the Glass Basket and Crisper Plate

  • The glass cooking basket and crisper plate are dishwasher safe.
  • Alternatively, wash them with hot, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak in warm soapy water before cleaning.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.

Cleaning the Main Unit

  • Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Never immerse the main unit, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Clean the heating element area with a soft brush if necessary, ensuring the appliance is unplugged.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your air fryer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
