Setup and Pairing

Your ABBIDOT Dog Training Collar set is typically pre-paired from the factory. If you need to pair a new collar or remote, follow these steps:

Pairing a New Collar or Remote

  1. Ensure the collar receiver is turned off.
  2. On the remote, select the desired channel (e.g., "1" for the first dog, "2" for the second). If pairing a second collar, ensure the remote is set to channel "2".
  3. Press and hold the power button on the collar receiver until the red and green lights flash alternately. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
  4. While the collar is flashing, simultaneously press both the "Beep" button and the "Vibration" button on the remote control.
  5. The collar's lights will stop flashing and remain solid green, indicating successful pairing.

Operating Modes

The ABBIDOT Dog Training Collar offers four primary modes to assist in effective training:

  • 1. Tone Mode (Beep)

Produces an audible beep sound. This mode is ideal for initial training, attention-getting, or as a warning before applying other corrections. There are 9 different tone levels.

  • 2. Vibration Mode

Delivers a non-harmful vibration to the collar. This is often used as a gentle correction or a follow-up to the tone mode. There are 36 adjustable vibration levels.

  • 3. Stimulation Mode

Provides a static stimulation. This mode should be used cautiously and at the lowest effective level. It is intended for more serious behavioral issues or when other modes are ineffective. There are 36 adjustable stimulation levels.

Important: Always use the safety lock feature to prevent accidental stimulation. Adjust stimulation levels carefully using the rotary knob on the remote.

  • 4. Night Light Mode

Activates the LED light on the collar for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. This is a safety feature, not a training mode.

Switching Channels for Multiple Dogs

If you are training multiple dogs, use the channel switch button on the remote to toggle between Collar 1 and Collar 2. Ensure the correct channel is selected before issuing commands.

Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the collar and remote with a damp cloth. For the collar receiver, ensure the contact points are clean to maintain proper function. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Battery Care: Charge the devices fully before first use. Recharge when the battery indicator is low. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery for extended periods.
  • Storage: Store the collar and remote in a cool, dry place when not in use. Keep away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
  • Contact Points: Periodically check the contact points for wear and tear. Ensure they are securely attached and appropriate for your dog's coat length.
  • Strap Adjustment: Ensure the collar strap is adjusted correctly for a snug but comfortable fit. It should be tight enough for the contact points to touch the skin, but not so tight as to cause discomfort or irritation.
