Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your WL K170 RC Helicopter.

  • Cleaning: After each flight, gently wipe the helicopter with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check the main and tail rotor blades for any signs of damage (cracks, bends). Damaged blades can affect flight stability and safety. Replace them with spare parts as needed using the provided screwdriver.
  • Motor Care: The 1106 brushless main motor and 720 coreless tail motor are designed for durability. Keep them free from obstructions.
  • Battery Storage: Store flight batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not store fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.
  • Component Check: Periodically inspect all screws and connections to ensure they are secure.
