After each cleaning cycle, or as needed, clean the filter basket. The filter tray pops out easily. The filter basket is surrounded by four removable screens. To remove them, follow the numbered sequence from 1 to 4. To reinstall, reverse the order, installing from 4 to 1. This ensures proper fit and function.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Robot not charging: Ensure the charging base is properly connected to power and the robot is correctly seated on the base. Check for any debris or corrosion on the charging contacts.
  • Robot not surfacing after cleaning: Verify that the Smart Surface Parking feature is enabled in the app. If the robot remains at the bottom, use the included hook to retrieve it. Ensure the pool depth is within the robot's operational limits.
  • Poor cleaning performance: Clean the filter basket thoroughly. Check for any obstructions in the suction inlet or brushes. Ensure the correct cleaning mode is selected for the type of debris and pool area.
  • Robot struggles with large leaves: While the robot has strong suction, very large or numerous leaves might occasionally impede its movement or clog the intake. Manually remove excessive large debris before operation for best results.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure your mobile device's Bluetooth is on and the robot is within range. Restart both the app and the robot if connection problems persist.

For persistent issues, consult the Aiper app for diagnostic tools or contact customer support.
