6. Installation Instructions
This flood light is designed for easy installation on a standard junction box. Professional installation is recommended.
6.1 Before You Begin
- Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the area where you will be installing the light.
- Prepare the mounting surface: Ensure the junction box is securely mounted and the wiring is accessible.
6.2 Wiring and Mounting
- Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box using the provided screws.
- Connect the electrical wires:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (live) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the green (ground) wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper (ground) wire from the junction box.
- Carefully tuck the wires into the junction box.
- Align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure the gasket is properly seated to maintain the IP65 rating.
- Restore power at the circuit breaker.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Adjusting Light Heads
The light heads can be rotated 150 degrees side-to-side and 180 degrees up-and-down. Loosen the adjustment screws on the side of each light head, position the heads to your desired angle, and then tighten the screws firmly to secure them.
7.2 Selecting Color Temperature (CCT)
The flood light features a selectable color temperature switch, usually located on the back or side of the fixture. Before final installation or by carefully accessing the switch, select your preferred color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) by sliding the switch to the desired setting.
8. Maintenance
The ASD LED Security Flood Light requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Periodically check the fixture for any signs of damage, loose connections, or wear. Address any issues promptly.
- LEDs are not user-replaceable. Do not attempt to open the sealed light heads.
9. Troubleshooting
