2. Safety Instructions

3. Setup and Installation

3.2 Unpacking and Component Identification

3.3 Assembly Steps

1. Position Posts: Carefully position the two main posts according to the specified dimensions, ensuring they are plumb and square.
2. Anchor Posts: Securely anchor the posts to the concrete floor using the provided anchor bolts. Torque to manufacturer specifications.
3. Install Floor Plate: Connect the floor plate/cross member between the two posts.
4. Install Carriages and Arms: Mount the lifting carriages and attach the four adjustable support arms. Ensure the rotating trays are correctly installed.
5. Route Cables and Hoses: Install the equalization cables and hydraulic hoses, ensuring they are free from kinks and obstructions.
6. Connect Power Unit: Mount the hydraulic power unit to one of the posts and connect the hydraulic lines and electrical wiring.
7. Fill Hydraulic Fluid: Fill the hydraulic reservoir with the recommended hydraulic fluid (not included).
8. Bleed System: Follow the manufacturer's instructions to bleed air from the hydraulic system.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Pre-Operation Checklist

• Ensure the lift area is clear of obstructions.
• Check hydraulic fluid level.
• Inspect cables, chains, and hoses for wear or damage.
• Verify all safety locks are functioning correctly.

4.2 Lifting a Vehicle

1. Position Vehicle: Drive the vehicle onto the lift, ensuring it is centered between the posts.
2. Position Arms: Swing the support arms into position under the vehicle's designated lifting points. Adjust the rotating trays to ensure stable contact.
3. Initial Lift: Press the "UP" button on the power unit to raise the vehicle a few inches off the ground.
4. Verify Stability: Carefully check that the vehicle is stable and securely supported on all four pads.
5. Raise to Desired Height: Continue pressing the "UP" button to raise the vehicle to the desired working height.
6. Engage Safety Locks: Once at the desired height, lower the lift slightly until the safety locks engage. This transfers the load from the hydraulic system to the mechanical locks.
7. Confirm Locks: Visually confirm that all safety locks are fully engaged before working under the vehicle.

4.3 Lowering a Vehicle

1. Clear Area: Ensure the area beneath and around the lift is clear of personnel and obstructions.
2. Raise Slightly: Press the "UP" button briefly to slightly raise the vehicle, disengaging the safety locks.
3. Disengage Locks: Manually disengage the safety locks on both posts.
4. Lower Vehicle: Press and hold the "DOWN" lever or button to slowly lower the vehicle to the ground.
5. Remove Arms: Once the vehicle is fully on the ground, swing the support arms clear.
6. Drive Off: Carefully drive the vehicle off the lift.
