  • Maximum Range: The remote operates effectively up to 6 meters (approximately 20 feet) from the projector.
  • Infrared Technology: The remote uses infrared signals. Direct line of sight to the projector's IR sensor is necessary for proper function.

Maintenance

  • Battery Care:
    • Do not mix new batteries with old ones.
    • If the remote will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential damage from leakage and corrosion.
  • Environmental Conditions:
    • Do not leave the remote in extremely hot or humid environments.
    • Avoid exposing the remote's sensor to direct sunlight or strong lighting apparatuses, as this may cause malfunction.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote control. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting

If your remote control is not functioning as expected, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check Batteries:

Reinstall the batteries, ensuring the contacts are clean and the polarity (+/-) is correct. If the remote still doesn't work, replace the batteries with new ones. Do not use a new battery with an old one.

  2. Check Device:

Confirm that your projector is powered on and functional. Try using the physical buttons on the projector's control panel to ensure it operates correctly without the remote.

  3. Check for Obstructions:

Ensure there are no objects blocking the path between the remote control and the projector's IR sensor. Move closer to the device if necessary.

  4. Test the Remote (Smartphone Camera Method):

You can quickly test if the remote is emitting an infrared signal using a smartphone camera:

    • Open your smartphone's camera application.
    • Point the front (LED end) of the remote control directly at your phone's camera lens.
    • Press and hold any button on the remote.
    • If the remote is working, you should see a faint white or purple light flashing on your phone's screen. If no light is visible, there may be an issue with the batteries or the remote itself.
