Product Overview

The SANOTO HE029 earbuds are designed for comfort and functionality. Each earbud is lightweight (approximately 3g) and features a soft silicone ear tip for a secure and pressure-free fit, even for side sleepers. The charging case includes a digital display for battery status.

Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. The digital display on the charging case will show the battery percentage. The individual earbud indicators will show their charging status.
4. Charging is complete when the display shows 100% and the earbud indicators stop blinking. A full charge for the case and earbuds typically takes about 20 minutes.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the earbuds are charged and removed from the charging case. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for available devices. You should see "HE-029B" in the list.
4. Select "HE-029B" to connect. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.
5. Once paired, the earbuds will automatically connect to your device when removed from the case, provided Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

3. Wearing the Earbuds

The HE029 earbuds are designed for a comfortable and secure fit.

• Gently insert each earbud into your ear canal.
• Rotate the earbud slightly until it feels snug and comfortable. The soft silicone tips and wing support structure help keep them in place, even for side sleepers.
• Ensure a good seal for optimal sound quality and noise isolation.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Remove the earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on and attempt to connect to the last paired device.
• Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case. They will automatically power off and begin charging.

2. Dual Mode Functionality

The HE029 earbuds offer two primary modes:

• Sleep Mode: Designed to provide a quiet environment for sleep. It uses physical sound isolation and can play gentle, relaxing sounds. In this mode, accidental touches are blocked to prevent disturbance. The earbuds will automatically power off after 1 hour of playback in sleep mode.
• Bluetooth Earbud Mode: Offers clear, high-fidelity music playback and clear calls with its noise-reduction microphone. This is the standard mode for general audio listening.

Note: These earbuds provide passive noise isolation and do not feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

3. Touch Controls

The earbuds feature a multi-function touch panel for various operations.

• Play/Pause: Touch 1 time on either earbud.
• Sleep Mode On/Off: Tap 4 times on either earbud.
• Voice Assistant: Long press for 2 seconds on either earbud.
• Answer Call: Touch 1 time on either earbud.
• Hang Up Call: Touch 2 times on either earbud.
• Reject Call: Press for 1.5 seconds on either earbud.
• Volume Up: Tap 3 times on the left earbud.
• Volume Down: Tap 3 times on the right earbud.

Note: In Sleep Mode, accidental touches are automatically blocked to prevent interruptions.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds, especially the silicone tips and charging contacts, with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Water Resistance: The earbuds are IPX6 waterproof, meaning they are resistant to sweat, rain, and humidity. However, they are not designed for submersion in water. Do not wear them while swimming or showering.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust and damage. Store the case in a cool, dry place.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the earbuds and charging case frequently. Charge them regularly, even if not used for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

• Earbuds not pairing:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Turn off Bluetooth on your device and turn it back on.
  • Forget "HE-029B" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
  • Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering.
• Only one earbud working:
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and then take them out again.
  • Check the battery level of both earbuds.
  • Try re-pairing the earbuds with your device.
• No sound or low volume:
  • Increase the volume on both your device and the earbuds.
  • Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in your ears for a good seal.
  • Check if the earbuds are connected to the correct device.
• Earbuds fall out easily:
  • Ensure you are inserting them correctly and rotating them for a snug fit.
  • The earbuds are designed to be lightweight and comfortable for sleep, but strong movements might dislodge them. They are not intended for high-intensity sports where vigorous movement is involved.
