1. Safety Instructions

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Do not cover the fan or restrict airflow during operation.

3. Setup and Assembly

The Hykolity Pedestal Fan requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps:

  1. Attach the Base: Carefully align the main fan body with the base. Secure it using the provided screws or locking mechanism. Ensure it is firmly attached and stable.
  2. Adjust Height: Loosen the height adjustment knob/collar on the main pole. Extend or retract the pole to your desired height (between 37-45 inches). Tighten the knob/collar securely.
  3. Position the Fan Head: The fan head is pre-assembled. Ensure it is securely attached to the pole.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert the required batteries (e.g., 2x AAA, not always included) according to the polarity markings.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Hykolity Pedestal Fan can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The fan features an LED panel for direct control and a remote for convenient operation from a distance.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • Press the Power Button on the control panel or remote to turn the fan on or off.

4.3 Wind Speeds (12 Levels)

The fan offers 12 wind speed settings for precise airflow control.

  • Use the Speed +/- Buttons on the control panel or remote to adjust the wind speed.

4.4 Operating Modes (5 Modes)

Select from five distinct operating modes to suit your comfort needs:

  • Press the Mode Button to cycle through the following modes:
    • Normal Mode: Provides a constant airflow at your selected speed.
    • Auto Mode: Adjusts fan speed automatically based on ambient temperature.
    • Extreme Mode: Runs the fan directly at its highest speed (Speed 12) for maximum airflow.
    • Sleep Mode: Operates at a very low, quiet speed (1-3) and gradually decreases over time to create a peaceful sleeping environment. The screen will shut down after 1 minute of no operation.
    • Natural Mode: Simulates natural breeze by varying wind speed intermittently.

4.5 Oscillation (Omni-directional)

The fan features 120° horizontal and 90° vertical oscillation for comprehensive air circulation.

  • Press the Oscillation Button to activate or deactivate the automatic oscillation. The fan will oscillate both horizontally and vertically.

4.6 Timer Function (12 Hours)

Set the fan to automatically turn off after a specified period, up to 12 hours.

  • Press the Timer Button repeatedly to select the desired operating duration (1-12 hours). The display will show the set time.

4.7 Height Adjustment

The fan's height can be manually adjusted between 37 and 45 inches.

  • Refer to the "Setup and Assembly" section for instructions on adjusting the fan's height. Ensure the adjustment knob/collar is securely tightened after setting the desired height.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning helps maintain the fan's performance and extends its lifespan.

  • Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Cleaning the Grille and Blades:
    1. Ensure the fan is unplugged from the power outlet.
    2. Carefully remove the front grille (if detachable, refer to specific product design for instructions).
    3. Wipe the fan blades and interior surfaces with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
    4. Reattach the front grille securely.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.

6. Troubleshooting
