2. Safety Information

  • Always store emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe and out of reach of unauthorized individuals. Do not store emergency keys inside the safe.
  • Ensure the safe is installed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted to a wall or floor to prevent tipping or unauthorized removal.
  • Keep the safe's digital keypad and internal components dry. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of each digital keypad.
  2. Insert the required batteries (typically 4 AA batteries, not included) according to the polarity indicators (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a floor or wall using the provided expansion screws.

  1. Choose a suitable location for the safe, ensuring it is level and stable.
  2. Identify the pre-drilled mounting holes on the back (four holes) and bottom (two holes) of the safe.
  3. Position the safe and mark the drilling points on the wall or floor through the pre-drilled holes.
  4. Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall/floor material.
  5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the expansion screws.
  6. Tighten the screws firmly to secure the safe in place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Opening the Safe

Your Omethey safe offers three methods for opening:

  1. Using Emergency Keys: Insert the emergency key into the keyhole, turn it, and then turn the knob to open the door.
  2. Using Digital Passcode: Enter your programmed passcode on the keypad, then turn the knob to open the door.
  3. Using USB Type-C Power with Passcode (Emergency Power): If batteries are depleted, connect the USB Type-C cable to the external power jack, enter your passcode, then turn the knob to open the door.

5.2 Setting/Changing Passcodes

5.3 Mute Function

To activate or deactivate the mute function, press the '*' key followed by the '1' key on the keypad. This allows for silent operation.

5.4 Dual Alarm System

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system that activates under two conditions:

  • After 3 consecutive incorrect password entries.
  • Upon detection of violent vibrations.

The alarm emits a sound of 70 decibels for 60 seconds. To stop the alarm, enter the correct password.

5.5 Using the Drop Slot
