- Usage: This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not flambé under the range hood. Do not leave frying pans unattended during use as overheated oil can ignite.
- Cleaning: Clean the range hood regularly to prevent grease buildup, which can be a fire hazard.
- Children: Keep children away from the appliance. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your range hood. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified technician.
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
- Carefully remove all packaging materials.
- Check the appliance for any transport damage. Do not install a damaged appliance.
- Verify that all included components are present as listed in Section 2.
3.2 Mounting the Range Hood
The range hood is designed for wall mounting. Ensure the wall structure is strong enough to support the weight of the appliance.
- Determine the optimal mounting height above your cooking surface. The chimney is height-adjustable (400-790mm) to accommodate various kitchen layouts.
- Mark the drilling points on the wall using the provided template (if applicable) and ensure they are level.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall.
- Carefully lift the range hood and hang it onto the mounting bracket. Secure it with additional screws as instructed in the detailed installation guide.
- Install the decorative chimney covers, adjusting their height as needed.

3.3 Ventilation Mode Selection
Your range hood supports two ventilation modes: external evacuation and recirculation.
- External Evacuation: For this mode, connect the provided 1.5m telescopic aluminum duct (Ø=150mm) to the range hood's outlet and route it to an external vent. This mode expels cooking fumes outside.
- Recirculation Mode: If external venting is not possible, install the two active carbon filters (YYCF-120E) into the range hood. These filters purify the air before returning it to the kitchen. No external ducting is required for this mode.

3.4 Electrical Connection
Connect the range hood to a suitable power outlet (220V, 50Hz) using the provided EU cable. Ensure the connection is secure and complies with local electrical safety standards.
4. Operating Instructions
Your SNDOAS range hood features both touch and gesture controls for convenient operation.
4.1 Control Panel Overview
The control panel is located on the front of the range hood and includes touch-sensitive buttons and a gesture sensor.

4.2 Power On/Off
- Touch Control: Press the Power button (symbol: circle with vertical line) once to turn the hood on or off.
- Gesture Control: Wave your hand from left to right in front of the gesture sensor to turn the hood on. Wave from right to left to turn it off.
4.3 Fan Speed Adjustment
The hood has 3 normal fan speeds and a booster mode.
- Touch Control: Use the - and + buttons to cycle through speeds 1, 2, and 3. Press the Booster button (symbol: asterisk) for maximum suction.
- Gesture Control: Wave your hand from left to right to increase fan speed. Wave from right to left to decrease fan speed.
4.4 LED Lighting
- Touch Control: Press the Light button (symbol: light bulb) to turn the LED lights on or off.

4.5 Delayed Shutdown
The delayed shutdown function allows the hood to continue operating for 9 minutes after cooking to ensure all residual fumes are cleared.
- When the motor is running, press and hold the Booster button (symbol: asterisk) for 3 seconds to activate the 9-minute delayed shutdown function. The hood will automatically turn off after 9 minutes.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your range hood.
5.1 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the tempered glass and stainless steel surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface.
- Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
5.2 Cleaning Grease Filters
The 5-layer aluminum grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain suction efficiency.
- Turn off the range hood and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Open the glass panel and release the latches to remove the aluminum grease filters.
- The filters are dishwasher safe. Place them in the dishwasher on a low-temperature cycle, or wash them by hand with hot water and a degreasing detergent.
- Ensure the filters are completely dry before re-installing them.

5.3 Replacing Active Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode)
If you are using the range hood in recirculation mode, the active carbon filters (YYCF-120E) need to be replaced approximately every 3-6 months, depending on usage. They cannot be washed.
- Turn off the range hood and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Remove the aluminum grease filters as described above.
- Locate the active carbon filters (round filters) and twist them to unlock and remove.
- Install new active carbon filters by aligning them and twisting to lock into place.
- Re-install the aluminum grease filters.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, please check the following common issues and solutions:
