Setup and Installation
This exhaust fan is designed for hassle-free ceiling mounting. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
1. Prepare the Ceiling Opening
Confirm your ceiling opening and duct size before purchase. The required ceiling cutout is 7.75" L × 7.5" W × 5.75" H. The light housing measures 10.25" × 10.25", and the duct requires a standard 4" diameter.

This image illustrates the required ceiling cutout dimensions (7.75" L x 7.5" W x 5.75" H) and the light housing size (10.25" x 10.25") for proper installation. The duct requires a standard 4" diameter.
2. Mount the Fan Housing
Mount the fan housing directly to ceiling joists using nails or screws. Ensure the housing is securely fastened.
3. Connect Ductwork
Connect the 4-inch duct to the fan's exhaust port. Secure the connection with duct tape or a clamp to prevent air leaks.
4. Electrical Wiring
Open the junction box cover. Connect the black, white, and green (ground) wires from your household wiring to the corresponding wires on the fan unit. Secure connections with wire nuts. The fan and light have separate wire connections, allowing for control with a single or dual wall switch.

This diagram shows how to connect the fan and light to a single or dual wall switch setup. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes.
5. Install Light Cover
Once wiring is complete and secured, attach the LED light cover to the fan housing. Restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions
Fan Operation
The exhaust fan operates by turning on the connected wall switch. It provides 110 CFM airflow to quickly remove moisture and odors from your bathroom.

The fan provides 110 CFM airflow with 360-degree air intake for efficient ventilation, suitable for rooms up to 110 sq. ft.

The fan effectively removes moisture and steam, preventing fogged mirrors and keeping the bathroom dry and fresh.

Operating at an ultra-quiet 1.0 Sones, the fan provides effective ventilation with minimal noise, comparable to a whisper.
Light Operation and Color Temperature Settings
The integrated LED light offers four lighting options: three adjustable color temperatures and a soft nightlight. You can switch between these modes using your standard wall switch.
- Cycling Modes: Turn the wall switch OFF and ON quickly to cycle through the available light modes (2700K, 4000K, 6500K, Nightlight).
- Memory Function: The fan includes a power-off memory function. If the light is left OFF for more than 3 seconds, it will automatically save the last selected color temperature or nightlight setting for the next time it is turned ON.

The fan's LED light offers three color temperature settings: 2700K (warm white), 4000K (bright white), and 6500K (cool white). These can be cycled using a standard wall switch.

A soft 2W nightlight mode is available, easily activated via the wall switch, providing subtle illumination.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your exhaust fan. Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker before performing any maintenance.
Cleaning the Light Cover
Wipe the LED light cover with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or diffuser.
Cleaning the Fan Grille and Interior
Periodically remove the light cover to access the fan grille. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the grille and fan blades. For deeper cleaning, wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and restoring power.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your Fitop Bathroom Exhaust Fan, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Fan or Light Not Working:
- Check if the circuit breaker is ON.
- Ensure all electrical connections are secure and correctly wired.
- Verify that the wall switch is functioning correctly.
- Fan is Noisy:
- Ensure the fan housing is securely mounted to the ceiling joists. Loose mounting can cause vibrations.
- Check for any obstructions in the fan blades or exhaust duct.
- Clean the fan blades and grille from dust and debris.
- Light Color Not Changing:
- Ensure you are cycling the wall switch OFF and ON quickly to change modes.
- If the light remains on a single setting, the memory function may have engaged. Try cycling the switch several times.
- Poor Airflow:
- Check for blockages in the exhaust ductwork.
- Ensure the duct connection to the fan is sealed properly.
- Clean the fan grille and blades.
If problems persist after following these steps, please contact customer support.
