Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Fitop Bathroom Exhaust Fan, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Fan or Light Not Working:
    • Check if the circuit breaker is ON.
    • Ensure all electrical connections are secure and correctly wired.
    • Verify that the wall switch is functioning correctly.
  • Fan is Noisy:
    • Ensure the fan housing is securely mounted to the ceiling joists. Loose mounting can cause vibrations.
    • Check for any obstructions in the fan blades or exhaust duct.
    • Clean the fan blades and grille from dust and debris.
  • Light Color Not Changing:
    • Ensure you are cycling the wall switch OFF and ON quickly to change modes.
    • If the light remains on a single setting, the memory function may have engaged. Try cycling the switch several times.
  • Poor Airflow:
    • Check for blockages in the exhaust ductwork.
    • Ensure the duct connection to the fan is sealed properly.
    • Clean the fan grille and blades.

If problems persist after following these steps, please contact customer support.
