1. Introduction

2. Package Contents

Verify that all items listed below are included in your package. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact your reseller.

Note: This model (Poly Studio X32) does not include a power supply. A Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector or a compatible power supply must be acquired separately for operation.

3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Poly Studio X32 Video Bar.

3.1 Mounting the Device

The Poly Studio X32 can be mounted above or below a display using the included display mounting clamp, or placed on a tabletop.

  1. Display Mounting: Attach the display mounting clamp to the back of the video bar, then secure it to the top or bottom edge of your display. Ensure the clamp is stable and the video bar is level.
  2. Tabletop Placement: Place the video bar on a flat, stable surface, ensuring it is positioned centrally in the meeting space for optimal camera coverage.

3.2 Connecting Cables

Connect the necessary cables to the rear ports of the Poly Studio X32.

  1. Power: Connect an Ethernet cable from a Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector or a PoE-enabled network switch to the Ethernet port on the video bar. This device requires PoE for power.
  2. Display: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to an HDMI output port on the video bar and the other end to an HDMI input port on your display.
  3. Network: If not using PoE for network connectivity, connect an Ethernet cable from your network to the Ethernet port on the video bar.
  4. Optional Accessories: Connect any optional USB accessories (e.g., Poly Studio E360 camera) to the available USB ports.

4. Operating Instructions

The Poly Studio X32 is designed for intuitive operation with built-in cloud video applications.

4.1 Initial Power On and Configuration

  1. Once powered via PoE, the device will boot up automatically.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts on your connected display to complete the initial setup, including network configuration and selecting your preferred video conferencing platform.
  3. Register the device with your organization's IT system or Poly Lens for centralized management.

4.2 Joining a Meeting

The Poly Studio X32 supports one-touch join for most leading cloud video services.
