3.3. UPS Uninterruptible Power Supply Mode

  • Both charging and discharge relays are always active.
  • When powered on, the charger charges the battery and supplies power to the load simultaneously.
  • The electrical grid remains connected. When the charger is powered off or malfunctions, the battery automatically supplies power to the load until it is charged again.
  • If the charger is powered on, the battery automatically charges and supplies power to the load.
  • Note: In this mode, the output of the charger must ensure it is greater than the power required by the load.
  • The simultaneous flashing of charging and discharging icons represents the UPS mode.
  • To activate UPS mode: Long press the SET button to enter settings. If the FUC parameter is set to UPS, the UPS mode will be activated.

3.4. Button Functions

  • UP Button: Used for navigation or increasing values in settings.
  • DOWN Button: Used for navigation or decreasing values in settings.
  • SET Key: Enters settings menu or confirms selections.
  • STOP Button: Briefly press for emergency stop; long press to force switch between charging/discharging modes.

4. Maintenance

The Uziurl XY-BT13L module is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance. To ensure longevity and optimal performance:

  • Keep the module clean and free from dust and debris.
  • Ensure the operating environment is within the specified temperature range (-10°C to 60°C).
  • Avoid exposure to moisture or corrosive substances.
  • Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and integrity.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your XY-BT13L module, consider the following:

  • No Power/Display: Check the input voltage and ensure all power connections are secure.
  • Incorrect Readings: Verify that the voltage and current sensors are correctly connected and calibrated.
  • Module Not Switching Modes: Ensure the STOP button is not stuck and try a long press to force mode change. Check settings via the SET button.
  • UPS Mode Issues: In UPS mode, if the charger is disconnected or malfunctions, the charging icon will flash rapidly. If an electrical appliance malfunctions, the battery will automatically supply power to the load, and the display will show the battery's discharge current. Ensure the charger output capacity exceeds the load requirement.
  • Over-temperature Protection: If the module becomes excessively hot, it may enter a protection state. Ensure adequate ventilation.

For persistent issues, consult the product specifications or contact customer support.
