1. Product Overview

The MechLands Aula F75 PRO is a 75% layout wireless mechanical gaming keyboard designed for efficiency and customization. It features a gasket-mounted structure with five-layer sound dampening, tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, USB-C wired), hot-swappable switches, a versatile control knob, and customizable RGB lighting.

3. Setup and Connectivity

3.1 Charging the Keyboard

Before initial use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect one end to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end to a powered USB port on your computer or a wall adapter. The keyboard features a 4000mAh battery.

3.2 Connectivity Modes

The F75 PRO supports three connectivity modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired. Use the switch located on the back of the keyboard to select your desired mode.

3.2.1 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

1. Set the switch on the keyboard to "2.4G".
2. Plug the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. The keyboard will automatically connect.

3.2.2 Bluetooth Connection

1. Set the switch on the keyboard to "BT".
2. On your device (PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
3. Select "AULA F75 PRO" from the list of available devices to pair.
4. The keyboard can connect to up to five devices simultaneously. Use shortcut keys (e.g., Fn + 1/2/3) to switch between paired devices.

3.2.3 USB-C Wired Connection

1. Set the switch on the keyboard to "USB".
2. Connect the USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Knob Functions

The versatile control knob provides quick access to various functions:

• Rotate: Adjust volume or media.
• Press: Mute/unmute audio.
• Hold: Change RGB lighting settings.

4.2 RGB Lighting Control

The F75 PRO features 16.8 million RGB colors with 16 preset lighting effects. Additional effects and customization are available via the software driver.

• Fn + \: Toggle between different backlight effects.
• Fn + Tab: Toggle between different backlight colors.
• Hold Knob: Access RGB settings directly from the knob.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Hot-Swappable Switches

The F75 PRO features full-key hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to change switches without soldering. This enables easy customization and replacement of individual switches.

1. Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove the keycap.
2. Use a switch puller (not included, but commonly available) to gently remove the switch from its socket.
3. Align the pins of the new switch with the holes in the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
4. Replace the keycap.

5.2 General Cleaning

To maintain your keyboard's performance and appearance:

• Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
• Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
• For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen a microfiber cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution and wipe the keycaps and casing. Avoid excessive moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding:
  • Ensure the keyboard is charged.
  • Check the connectivity switch is set to the correct mode (USB, 2.4G, or BT).
  • For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is properly plugged in.
  • For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired and selected on your device. Try re-pairing if necessary.
  • Try a different USB port or cable for wired connection.
• RGB lighting not working or incorrect:
  • Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
  • Use Fn + \ or Fn + Tab to cycle through effects and colors.
  • Check the software driver for advanced lighting settings.
• Keys not registering or double-typing:
  • Clean around the affected key to remove any debris.
  • If using hot-swappable switches, try reseating the switch or replacing it with a spare.
  • Update the keyboard firmware via the official software.
