Setup

1. Installing the Filter and Filter Bag

1. Open the vacuum cleaner by releasing the "Pull & Push" closure system.
2. For dry vacuuming, insert the paper filter bag into the container. Ensure it is properly seated.
3. Install the cartridge filter onto the motor head. This filter is suitable for both wet and dry vacuuming and does not need to be changed between modes.
4. Close the vacuum cleaner securely.

2. Attaching the Suction Hose and Accessories

• Connect the 3.9 ft suction hose to the suction inlet on the front of the vacuum cleaner.
• Attach the desired nozzle (crevice nozzle or upholstery nozzle) to the end of the suction hose.
• For the blower function, connect the suction hose to the blower outlet located on the rear of the vacuum cleaner.

3. Installing the Battery

• Ensure the Kärcher 18V battery is fully charged.
• Slide the charged battery into the battery compartment on top of the vacuum cleaner until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the power button located on the top of the vacuum cleaner to turn it on or off.

2. Dry Vacuuming

• Ensure the paper filter bag is installed for optimal dry dirt collection.
• Attach the appropriate nozzle for the surface you are cleaning.
• Move the nozzle over the dry surface to collect dust, debris, and other dry particles.

3. Wet Vacuuming

• The cartridge filter allows for wet vacuuming without needing to be removed. Remove the paper filter bag before wet vacuuming to prevent damage.
• Use the vacuum to pick up spilled liquids. Do not exceed the maximum liquid fill level indicated on the container.

4. Blower Function

• Connect the suction hose to the blower outlet on the rear of the vacuum cleaner.
• Use the blower function to remove loose dirt from hard-to-reach areas or to gather leaves and light debris.

5. Car Interior Cleaning

• The compact design and specialized nozzles (crevice and upholstery) make this vacuum ideal for car interiors.
• Use the crevice nozzle for tight spaces between seats and consoles.
• The upholstery nozzle is suitable for cleaning car seats and floor mats.

6. Battery Runtime

The operational runtime depends on the battery capacity used:

• Approximately 10 minutes with a Kärcher 18V 2.5 Ah battery.
• Approximately 20 minutes with a Kärcher 18V 5.0 Ah battery.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

1. Emptying the Container

• When the container is full, or suction power decreases, release the "Pull & Push" closures and remove the motor head.
• Carefully remove the paper filter bag (if used) and dispose of its contents.
• For wet vacuuming, empty the liquid directly from the container.
• Clean the interior of the container with a damp cloth if necessary.

2. Cleaning/Replacing Filters

• The cartridge filter can be cleaned by tapping out loose dirt or rinsing it under running water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstallation.
• Replace the paper filter bag when full or damaged.

3. Cleaning Accessories

• Clean nozzles and the suction hose with water and mild detergent. Ensure they are dry before storage.
• Store accessories in the integrated accessory storage on the device.
