This image displays the front panel of the Bolisila WPS305H DC Power Supply. It features a digital display at the top showing Voltage (C.V), Current (C.C), and Power (W). Below the display are control knobs for VOLTAGE and CURRENT adjustment, an OUTPUT button, a POWER button, a USB Quick Charge port, and the positive (+) and negative (-) output terminals.

Front Panel Components:

  1. Digital Display: Shows real-time Voltage (V), Current (A), and Power (W) output. Indicators for Constant Voltage (C.V), Constant Current (C.C), and Over Current Protection (OCP) are also present.
  2. Output Button: Toggles the DC power output ON or OFF.
  3. USB Quick Charge Port: Provides a dedicated USB charging output.
  4. VOLTAGE Knob: Adjusts the output voltage.
  5. POWER Button: Toggles the main power supply ON or OFF.
  6. CURRENT Knob: Adjusts the output current limit. This knob may also function as an OCP ON/OFF control (Push/Hold).
  7. Output Terminals: Red (+) for positive, Black (-) for negative.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the power supply from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage.
  2. Placement: Place the unit on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation around it. Ensure no objects obstruct the air vents.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cord to the AC input socket on the rear of the unit and then to a standard 220V AC grounded wall outlet.
  4. Initial Power On: Press the main POWER button on the front panel. The digital display should illuminate.
  5. Connecting Load: Before connecting any load, ensure the power supply output is OFF (check the 'OUT' indicator on the display). Connect the positive (+) terminal of your load to the red output terminal and the negative (-) terminal of your load to the black output terminal.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting Voltage and Current

  1. Ensure the power supply is ON and the output is OFF.
  2. Rotate the VOLTAGE knob to set the desired output voltage. The display will show the set voltage.
  3. Rotate the CURRENT knob to set the desired current limit. This acts as a maximum current the supply will deliver. The display will show the set current.
  4. Once voltage and current limits are set, press the Output button to enable the DC power output. The 'OUT' indicator will illuminate.
  5. The display will now show the actual output voltage, current, and power being delivered to the load.

5.2 Over Current Protection (OCP)

The WPS305H features an Over Current Protection function. If the output current exceeds the set limit, the OCP will activate to protect both the power supply and the connected load. The 'OCP' indicator on the display will illuminate.

  • To enable/disable OCP, push and hold the CURRENT knob for a few seconds. The display will indicate OCP status.
  • When OCP is triggered, the output will shut down. To reset, turn the output OFF, resolve the overload condition, and then turn the output ON again.

5.3 Memory Storage Function

This model includes a memory storage function to save and recall frequently used voltage and current settings. Refer to the specific on-screen prompts or additional documentation for detailed instructions on saving and recalling presets, as the exact procedure may vary.

5.4 USB Quick Charge

The dedicated USB Quick Charge port provides a convenient power source for compatible USB devices. Simply connect your USB device to this port. This output operates independently of the main DC power output.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the power supply from the AC outlet. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ventilation: Regularly check that the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the power supply in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
