3. Electrical Connections
Connect the power adapter to the control box and then to a suitable power outlet. Connect the USB cable from the control box to your computer.
4. Software Installation
Install the necessary control software (e.g., GRBL-compatible software) on your computer. Refer to the software documentation for specific installation and configuration steps.
5. Aluminum Bench Vise Clamp
The Aluminum Bench Vise Clamp is designed to securely hold workpieces on the CNC bed. Place the clamp on the T-slot bed and secure it using the appropriate fasteners. Adjust the jaws to firmly grip your material.

Operating Instructions
Once the CNC router is assembled and connected, you can begin operation.
1. Power On
Turn on the power switch for the CNC router. The control box indicators should illuminate.
2. Software Connection
Launch your CNC control software on the computer and establish a connection with the router. Refer to your software's guide for specific connection procedures.
3. Load Material
Place your workpiece onto the CNC bed. Use the Aluminum Bench Vise Clamp or other suitable clamps to secure the material firmly. Ensure the material is flat and stable.
4. Install Cutting Tool
Carefully insert the desired cutting bit into the spindle collet. Tighten the collet nut securely using the provided wrenches. Ensure the bit is inserted to the correct depth.
5. Set Workpiece Origin (Zero Point)
Using the control software, manually jog the spindle to the desired X, Y, and Z origin points on your workpiece. Set these as the workpiece zero coordinates in the software.
6. Load G-code File
Load your prepared G-code file into the CNC control software. Review the toolpaths and settings to ensure they match your intended operation.
7. Start Operation
Before starting, double-check all safety precautions. Initiate the carving or cutting process through the software. Monitor the machine closely during operation.
8. Emergency Stop Procedure
In case of any malfunction, unexpected movement, or safety concern, immediately press the emergency stop button on the control box or within the software. This will halt all machine movement and power to the spindle.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your CNC router.
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the machine thoroughly. Remove dust, chips, and debris from the bed, lead screws, linear rails, and spindle area using a brush or vacuum.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a thin layer of appropriate lubricant to the lead screws and linear rails to ensure smooth movement and prevent wear. Consult the assembly guide for recommended lubricants.
- Check Fasteners: Regularly inspect all screws and bolts for tightness. Vibrations during operation can loosen fasteners over time.
- Cable Inspection: Check all electrical cables for signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Replace any damaged cables immediately.
- Spindle Collet: Keep the spindle collet and collet nut clean. Replace worn or damaged collets to ensure proper bit gripping.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
Machine Not Responding
- Check Power: Ensure the machine is plugged in and the power switch is on.
- USB Connection: Verify the USB cable is securely connected to both the router and the computer.
- Software Connection: Confirm that your CNC control software is connected to the router. Restart the software if necessary.
- Emergency Stop: Check if the emergency stop button is engaged. Release it if pressed.
Poor Carving Quality / Inaccurate Cuts
- Loose Workpiece: Ensure the material is firmly secured with the bench vise clamp or other clamps.
- Dull or Incorrect Bit: Use sharp, appropriate cutting bits for your material.
- Loose Spindle: Check if the spindle motor is securely mounted and the collet nut is tightened.
- Loose Belts/Couplings: Inspect belts and couplings for proper tension and secure attachment.
- Incorrect Feed Rates/Speeds: Adjust cutting parameters in your software to suit the material and bit.
- Dirty Rails/Lead Screws: Clean and lubricate the linear rails and lead screws.
Motor Stalling or Skipping Steps
- Overload: Reduce cutting depth or feed rate.
- Obstruction: Check for any physical obstructions preventing smooth movement of the axes.
- Loose Connections: Verify all motor wiring connections are secure.
