YOUSHARES Electric Insulin Cooler Travel Case Instruction Manual

Model: B0F6TK4PGT

Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your YOUSHARES Electric Insulin Cooler Travel Case. This device is designed to maintain the required temperature for insulin and other temperature-sensitive medications during travel and daily use. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

Important Safety Information

  • Always use the dedicated charger and 90-degree charging cable provided with the unit. Using unauthorized chargers may damage the device or pose a safety risk.
  • The electric cooling mode requires a continuous power supply. Without power, the unit cannot maintain temperature independently. For extended periods without power, use the pre-frozen gel box.
  • Ensure the gel box is frozen for 10-12 hours before use to achieve optimal cooling performance.
  • Monitor the internal temperature regularly, especially when using a power bank, as power banks can deplete, affecting cooling performance.
  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Keep the device away from water or other liquids to prevent electrical hazards.
  • This product does not include a power bank. Users must provide their own power bank if electric cooling is needed on the go.
  • When using the electric cooling mode, ensure the bottom silicone boot is pulled off to insert medication into the cooling tube.

2. Preparing for Electric Cooling Mode

For active cooling with electricity, use the smart chiller lid.

  1. Pull off the bottom silicone boot from the smart chiller lid.
  2. Insert your insulin pen(s) or vials into the cooling tube.
  3. Cover the medication with the provided silicone sleeve.
  4. Place the smart chiller lid assembly into the main bottle and twist to seal securely.
  5. Connect the 90-degree charging cable to the smart chiller lid and a power source (USB charger or power bank).

Operating Instructions

1. Electric Cooling Mode

This mode provides active temperature control when connected to a power source.

  1. Power On: Once connected to power, the display on the smart chiller lid will illuminate, showing the current internal temperature.
  2. Set Desired Temperature:
    • Double-tap the OK button to enter temperature setting mode. The display will flash.
    • Use the + and - buttons to adjust the temperature between 35.6°F (2°C) and 68°F (20°C). The default setting is 41°F (5°C).
    • Tap OK to confirm your selection. The display will stop flashing, and the unit will begin cooling to the set temperature.
  3. Temperature Display Toggle:
    • Hold the OK button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
    • Hold the Power button (if available, otherwise refer to the OK button for display) to hide or show the temperature display.
  4. Rapid Cooling: The upgraded electric chiller can cool down to 46.4°F (8°C) within 10 minutes, preventing insulin freezing.
