1. Introduction

This 10,000 BTU U-shaped window AC unit is designed to cool spaces up to 450 sq. ft., offering energy-efficient cooling with a low noise level of 45dB.

2. Important Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Keep the unit upright for at least 24 hours prior to operating to ensure the compressor functions as intended. Do not cut the internal packing strap before removing the unit; use the packing strap to pull out the whole unit.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.

5. Setup and Installation

The U-shaped design allows for easy installation without external brackets or extra support. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Measure Window Opening: Ensure your window opening is within the proper measurements. The unit fits windows with a 16" minimum opening, widths from 24" to 48", and a maximum sill height of 11".

2. Attach Mounting Blocks: Place the provided mounting blocks onto the window sill. These blocks stick to the window frame and act as support for the AC unit.
3. Insert AC Unit: Carefully slide the AC unit into the window opening, positioning it centrally. Be careful not to pinch your fingers when sliding the air conditioner over the window sill.
4. Leveling: Use the provided bubble level to ensure the unit is balanced when secured on the window sill. The bubble should be between the two black lines for proper balance.
5. Measure and Cut Foam: Measure the distance between the AC unit and the window frame to cut the white foam strips to size. Remove the adhesive protector and install the white foam on both sides of the unit to seal gaps.
6. Apply Top Foam Seal: Run the gray foam over the top of the white foam and the AC unit to create a complete seal between the window and the unit. This helps prevent air leakage and protects the unit.
7. Check Wall Thickness: Ensure the adjustable foot is adjusted according to the thickness of the wall and fixed to prevent vibration. Minimum wall thickness is 5 inches, maximum is 9.4 inches.

8. Power On: Once installation is complete, plug in the unit. The air conditioner must be upright for 24 hours prior to operating to ensure the compressor will function as intended.
