The iJoy Squishmallows Wireless Bluetooth Speaker is a portable audio device designed for wireless music streaming and hands-free calling. It features a splashproof design, multiple connectivity options, and a compact form factor for easy portability.

2. Setup

2.1. Charging the Speaker

Before initial use, fully charge the speaker. Use the included USB charging cable to connect the speaker to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging time is approximately 2 hours.

A blue LED indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when charging is complete.

2.2. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power On/Off button located on the top panel of the speaker until you hear an audible prompt or see the LED indicator light up.

2.3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "SQ60BTR" or "iJoy Squishmallows Speaker" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the blue LED will stop flashing and remain solid.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Control Buttons

The speaker features push-button controls on its top panel (refer to Figure 3):

• Power On/Off: Press and hold to power on or off.
• Play/Pause/Take Call: Press once to play/pause music. Press once to answer an incoming call. Press and hold to reject an incoming call.
• Volume +: Press to increase volume.
• Volume -: Press to decrease volume.
• Mode Switch (M): Press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX, and SD Card modes.
• Previous Track/FM Scan Down: Press to go to the previous track. In FM mode, press and hold to scan down frequencies.
• Next Track/FM Scan Up: Press to go to the next track. In FM mode, press and hold to scan up frequencies.

3.2. Connectivity Options

• Bluetooth: Connect wirelessly to any Bluetooth-enabled device within a 30-foot range.
• AUX Input: Use the included 3.5mm AUX cable to connect to devices without Bluetooth capability.
• SD Card Slot: Insert a microSD card with audio files for direct playback.
• USB Port: Insert a USB drive with audio files for direct playback.

3.3. FM Radio

To use the FM Radio function, press the 'M' (Mode Switch) button until you enter FM mode. Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to tune to different stations. For automatic station scanning, press and hold the Play/Pause button.

3.4. Hands-Free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can answer or reject calls directly from the speaker when connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone. Press the Play/Pause/Take Call button to answer or end a call. Press and hold to reject a call.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning

To clean the speaker, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the speaker's surface or internal components. Ensure all ports are closed before cleaning.

4.2. Water Resistance

The speaker has an IPX4 water resistance rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction. It is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water or exposed to heavy rain. Ensure the port cover is securely closed to maintain splash resistance.

4.3. Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, charge the battery periodically to maintain its lifespan.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your speaker, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Speaker will not power on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB charging cable.
• Cannot pair via Bluetooth: Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing blue LED). Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range (30 feet). Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
• No sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, AUX, SD, USB) is selected.
• Poor sound quality: Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference. Ensure there are no obstructions between the speaker and the device.
• FM Radio static: Adjust the speaker's position to improve signal reception. Try scanning for stations again.
