Setup
Setting up your Panda portable washing machine is straightforward. Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the washing machine from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
- Positioning: Place the washer on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for ventilation and hose connections. The unit features two wheels at the back bottom for easier movement; simply tilt the machine to a 45-degree angle and drag or push it into position.
- Water Inlet Connection: Locate the water inlet hose. Connect one end of the inlet hose to the water inlet on the back of the washing machine.
- Faucet Connection: Attach the quick adapter to your faucet. Then, connect the other end of the water inlet hose to the quick adapter on your faucet. The machine only has one water inlet, so water temperature adjustment must be done at the faucet.
- Drain Hose Setup: Hang the drain hose into a sink or a wash basin. Ensure the hose is securely placed to prevent it from falling out during the drain cycle.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your washing machine:
- Cleaning the Tub: Periodically run a 'Tub Clean' cycle (if available on your model) or a normal cycle with hot water and a washing machine cleaner to prevent mold and mildew buildup.
- Cleaning the Lint Filter: Check and clean the lint filter regularly, typically located inside the tub or near the top rim, to maintain drainage efficiency.
- Hose Inspection: Regularly inspect the water inlet and drain hoses for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks. Replace them if necessary to prevent water damage.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Storage: If storing the machine for an extended period, ensure it is completely drained and dry. Disconnect hoses and store them properly.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your washing machine, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Machine Not Starting: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in and the power button is pressed. Check if the lid is fully closed, as a safety mechanism prevents operation with an open lid.
- No Water Filling: Verify that the water supply faucet is fully open and the water inlet hose is not kinked or blocked. Check the water pressure from your faucet.
- Water Leaking: Check all hose connections (inlet and drain) to ensure they are tight and properly sealed. Ensure the drain hose is correctly positioned in the sink/basin and not overflowing. Avoid overfilling the machine with water.
- Excessive Vibration/Noise: Ensure the machine is placed on a level surface. An unbalanced load can also cause excessive vibration; redistribute clothes evenly inside the tub. The auto unbalance detection system will attempt to correct this, but manual adjustment may be needed for very uneven loads.
- Clothes Not Clean: Ensure you are using the correct amount of detergent for your load size and water hardness. Select an appropriate wash program for the type and soil level of your laundry. Avoid overloading the machine.
- Drainage Issues: Check if the drain hose is kinked, blocked, or positioned too high. Clean the lint filter if it is clogged.
