Setup

1. Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the keyboard and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

2. Connecting the Keyboard

The Redragon K710 supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz Wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wired (USB-C).

2.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

  1. Locate the switch on the side/back of the keyboard and slide it to the "2.4G" position.
  2. Insert the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Press and hold FN + R for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will flash rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will become solid green.

2.2. Bluetooth 5.0 Connection

The keyboard can store up to 3 Bluetooth devices.

  1. Slide the switch on the side/back of the keyboard to the "BT" position.
  2. Press and hold FN + Q, FN + W, or FN + E for 3 seconds to select a Bluetooth channel. The corresponding LED (Q, W, or E) will flash rapidly.
  3. On your device (PC, smartphone, tablet, PS5), enable Bluetooth and search for "Redragon K710" (or similar name).
  4. Select the keyboard to pair. Once connected, the LED for the selected channel will become solid blue.
  5. To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, simply press FN + Q/W/E (short press).

2.3. Wired (USB-C) Connection

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard's port.
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  3. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode. The LED indicator will show a solid red light.

Operating Instructions

1. RGB Backlight Control

The keyboard features 20 preset RGB backlight modes and supports 7 single colors.

  • FN + INS: Cycle through 20 backlight modes.
  • FN + ↑ / ↓: Adjust backlight brightness (4 levels).
  • FN + ← / →: Adjust backlight speed/direction.
  • FN + DEL: Cycle through 7 single backlight colors (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Cyan, White).
  • FN + PrtSc: Turn backlight ON/OFF.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Disconnect the keyboard before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface of the keyboard. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • For dust and debris between keycaps, use compressed air or a small brush.

2. Keycap Replacement

The K710 features removable round keycaps. Use the included keycap puller for safe removal and replacement.

  1. Gently place the keycap puller over the keycap you wish to remove.
  2. Apply even pressure and pull upwards until the keycap detaches from the switch.
  3. To replace, align the new keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode (2.4G, BT, or Wired) and ensure it matches your device. For wireless, try re-pairing. For wired, try a different USB port.
  • RGB lights not working: Ensure the backlight is turned on (FN + PrtSc). Check brightness levels (FN + ↑).
  • Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode and the correct channel (FN+Q/W/E) is selected. Remove the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pair. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled.
  • 2.4GHz wireless issues: Ensure the keyboard is in 2.4GHz mode. Try moving the USB receiver to a different USB port or closer to the keyboard.
  • Keys typing incorrectly: Perform a factory reset by holding FN + ESC for 5 seconds. If the issue persists, ensure the correct keyboard layout is selected in your operating system settings.
