3. Product Overview

The Oddire Drone is a foldable quadcopter equipped with a 1080P HD camera, designed for ease of use and stable flight. Key features include:

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Drone Battery: Insert the charged battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks securely.
  2. Charging: Connect the USB charging cable to the drone battery (or controller) and a USB power adapter (5V/2A recommended). The charging indicator will show status. A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes per battery.

4.2. Propeller Installation (if needed)

Ensure propellers are correctly installed according to their markings (A and B) on the corresponding motor arms. Use the provided screwdriver to secure them.

4.3. Controller Setup

Ensure the remote controller is charged. Power on the controller by pressing the power button.

4.4. App Connection

  1. Download the "ODDIRE GO" app from your mobile device's app store.
  2. Place the drone on a flat surface and power it on.
  3. Power on the remote controller; it will automatically connect to the drone.
  4. On your mobile device, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network starting with "ODDIRE_X-28_XXXXXX".
  5. Open the "ODDIRE GO" app to access live camera feed and advanced flight functions.

5. Operation

5.1. Pre-Flight Checklist

  • Ensure drone and controller batteries are fully charged.
  • Check that propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
  • Choose an open area free from obstacles, people, and animals.
  • Perform horizontal calibration: Place the drone on flat ground. Turn on the drone, then the controller. Move both joysticks inwards 45 degrees simultaneously until indicator lights confirm calibration.

5.2. Takeoff and Landing

  • One-Key Takeoff: Press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button. The drone will automatically ascend to a stable hover altitude.
  • Manual Takeoff: Push both joysticks diagonally outwards and downwards to start the motors. Then, slowly push the left joystick up to ascend.
  • One-Key Landing: Press the One-Key Takeoff/Landing button again. The drone will automatically descend and land.
  • Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick down to descend.

5.3. Basic Flight Controls

  • Left Joystick: Up/Down (Altitude), Left/Right (Rotate).
  • Right Joystick: Up/Down (Forward/Backward), Left/Right (Sideways Flight).
  • Trim Buttons: Adjust for drift if the drone moves without input.

5.4. Advanced Features

  • Headless Mode: Press the Headless Mode button for 3 seconds. The drone will orient itself relative to the pilot, regardless of its front direction. Press again to exit.
  • 3D Flip: While flying, press the 360° Flip button, then move the right joystick in the desired direction (up, down, left, or right) to perform a flip.
  • 3-Speeds Mode: Cycle through low, medium, and high speeds using the speed button on the controller.
  • Trajectory Flight: In the "ODDIRE GO" app, draw a flight path on your screen, and the drone will follow it.
  • Gravity Control: In the app, enable gravity control to maneuver the drone by tilting your mobile device.
  • Gesture Photo: Perform specific hand gestures in front of the camera to trigger photo or video recording. Refer to the app for specific gestures.
  • VR Mode: Insert your mobile device into a VR headset (not included) to experience an immersive first-person view flight.

5.5. Camera Operation

The drone is equipped with a 1080P HD camera. Photos and videos are saved directly to your connected mobile device via the "ODDIRE GO" app. The camera angle can be adjusted remotely up to 90 degrees using the controller or app.

6. Maintenance
