This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Solareye Solar Security Camera (Model GX1S). This wireless outdoor camera features 2K resolution, 360° pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) capabilities, color night vision, PIR motion detection, and two-way audio, all powered by an integrated solar panel and a 5200mAh battery. 4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Charging

Before installation, fully charge the camera using the provided USB Type-C charging cable. This ensures the battery has sufficient power for initial setup and operation.

4.2 Download the Mobile Application

Download the "Morecam" application from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Register an account and log in.

4.3 MicroSD Card Installation (Optional)

If you plan to use local storage, insert a MicroSD card (up to 128GB) into the designated slot on the camera. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.

4.4 Camera Pairing with App

  1. Power on the camera.
  2. In the Morecam app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
  4. Scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens.
  5. Once connected, name your camera and complete the setup.

4.5 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel

Choose an outdoor location with strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal and optimal sunlight exposure for the solar panel. The solar panel should be positioned to receive direct sunlight for several hours daily to maintain battery charge.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and PTZ Control

Open the Morecam app and select your camera to access the live video feed. Use the on-screen joystick controls to pan (355°), tilt (115°), and zoom (4X digital) the camera to monitor different areas.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera's PIR sensor and AI algorithms detect motion from humans, pets, and vehicles. When motion is detected, you will receive instant alerts on your smartphone. You can customize motion zones and alert schedules within the app.

5.3 Night Vision Modes

The camera offers both infrared (black and white) and full-color night vision. It automatically switches to color night vision when sufficient ambient light is available or when the spotlight is manually activated via the app.
