4. Setup Guide
4.1 Initial Setup of the Primary Mesh Router
- Power On: Insert the power adapter into the mesh router and plug the other end into a power outlet.
The indicator light will be solid red during startup, then flash yellow when startup is complete and it's pending a network connection.
- Connect to Internet:
- Turn off your cable modem. (Skip if not using a modem for internet access).
- Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into your modem.
- Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the WAN/LAN port of your Mesh Router.
- Turn on the cable modem and wait for its startup to complete.
Wait for the mesh router's indicator light to change to solid green, indicating a normal network connection for the primary router.

4.2 Easy Setup with MU-LINK App
- Connect to WiFi: Connect your smartphone or PC to the primary mesh router's WiFi SSID. The default SSID and password are printed on the product label at the bottom of the unit.
- Download App: Download, install, and launch the MU-LINK app from your device's app store.
- Log In: Log in to the app using the details provided on the product label.
- Automatic Networking: Power on the other included mesh devices. The app will automatically detect the number of devices to be mesh-networked and guide you through the process.
Note: Complete the networking process sequentially. Do not operate multiple devices at the same time.

4.3 Adding More Mesh Nodes
You can expand your network coverage by adding more mesh nodes using two methods:
Method 1: Via MU-LINK App
- Power up the secondary mesh router(s). Wait for the secondary node's light to blink yellow (startup complete, pending mesh networking).
- Open the MU-LINK app. The app will automatically detect available devices for mesh networking.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the networking process. The LED turning solid green indicates a successful connection.
Method 2: One-Button Networking (Mesh Button)
- Press the Mesh button on the connected primary node. The green light will blink rapidly.
- Within 2 minutes, press the Mesh button on the powered-up secondary node. The yellow light will blink rapidly.
- Both devices will enter the automatic networking process. The LED turning solid green on both indicates a successful connection.
