Power Management
To conserve battery, the mouse automatically enters a sleep mode after a period of inactivity. To wake the mouse, press any button or move the scroll wheel. Moving the mouse itself will not wake it from sleep mode.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your MAMBASNAKE M4 mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the mouse's internal components. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. The mouse's solid structure, without holes, makes it easier to clean.
Battery Care
The M4 mouse is equipped with a rechargeable battery offering approximately 200 hours of use. For optimal battery longevity, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge the mouse when the battery indicator suggests low power. Overcharging is generally prevented by built-in protection circuits.
Troubleshooting
- Mouse Not Responding:
- Ensure the mouse is charged.
- Check the connectivity mode switch (2.4G, BT, Wired) is set correctly.
- For 2.4G mode, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in.
- For Bluetooth mode, ensure the mouse is paired and your device's Bluetooth is enabled.
- For wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is properly connected.
- Input Lag or Disconnections:
- Ensure the mouse is in 2.4G wireless mode for optimal gaming performance, as Bluetooth may introduce higher latency.
- Reduce interference by moving the receiver closer to the mouse or away from other wireless devices.
- Ensure the mouse is fully charged.
- Mouse Not Waking from Sleep:
- Press any mouse button or move the scroll wheel to wake the mouse. Moving the mouse itself will not wake it.
- Unintended Double Clicks:
- The M4 features custom HUANYU micro-switches designed to minimize double-click issues. If this problem persists, ensure the mouse firmware is up to date via the web driver.
- RGB Lighting Not Working:
- Ensure the mouse is not in 'Competition mode' (lights off).
- Try pressing the forward side button + scroll wheel to cycle through effects.
