5. Setup

  2. Connect Power Cord: Plug the provided AC power cord into the AC Power Inlet on the rear panel and then into a grounded wall outlet.
  3. Power On: Press the green Power Button on the front panel. The LED display will illuminate, showing the last set voltage and current values.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Setting Voltage and Current

  • Voltage Adjustment: Rotate the V-Coarse Knob to set the integer part of the voltage. Rotate the V-Fine Knob to set the decimal part of the voltage (0.01V resolution).
  • Current Adjustment: Rotate the A-Coarse Knob to set the integer part of the current. Rotate the A-Fine Knob to set the decimal part of the current (0.001A resolution).
  • Output Activation: After setting the desired voltage and current, connect your load to the output terminals. Press the OUT Button to activate the output. The display will show the actual output voltage, current, and power. Press OUT Button again to deactivate the output.

6.2 Intelligent Battery Charging

  • The USB charging function operates independently of the main DC output settings.

6.4 Over-Current Protection (OCP)

  • Press the OCP Button to activate Over-Current Protection. The OCP Status LED will illuminate.
  • If a short-circuit or over-current condition occurs in the load, the power supply will automatically cut off the output and the OCP indicator will flash.
  • To restore output, resolve the fault condition and press the OUT Button.

6.5 Output Status Setting (OPN)

  • The OPN function determines the output state upon powering on the unit.
  • To set OPN, press and hold the OUT Button for 3 seconds. The display will show 'OPN' and a value (0 or 1).
  • Rotate the V-Coarse Knob to select '0' (output OFF on power-up) or '1' (output ON on power-up).
  • Press and hold the OUT Button again for 3 seconds to save the setting and exit.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cooling Fan

The integrated cooling fan automatically adjusts its speed based on the internal temperature of the unit. Ensure the rear fan and side vents are clear of obstructions to maintain optimal cooling performance.

7.2 Fuse Replacement

If the power supply fails to power on or experiences an internal fault, the fuse may need replacement. The fuse box is located on the rear panel, integrated with the AC power inlet.

  1. Disconnect Power: Unplug the power cord from the AC power inlet and the wall outlet.
  2. Open Fuse Box: Use a small flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the fuse compartment.
  3. Replace Fuse: Remove the blown fuse and replace it with a new fuse of the same specification (5 x 20mm T5/T8A). A spare fuse is provided in the fuse box.
  4. Close Fuse Box: Securely close the fuse compartment.
  5. Reconnect Power: Plug the power cord back in and test the unit.
