Setup

1. Adjusting the Harness System

The Farpoint Wheeled Travel Pack features a stowable harness and hipbelt for backpack-style carrying. To deploy:

  1. Locate the zippered panel on the back of the pack.
  2. Unzip the panel to reveal the shoulder straps and hipbelt.
  3. Pull out the shoulder straps and hipbelt, ensuring they are fully extended.
  4. Adjust the shoulder straps to fit comfortably over your shoulders.
  5. Fasten and tighten the hipbelt around your hips for load stability.

To stow the harness system, reverse these steps, ensuring all straps and the hipbelt are neatly tucked back into the zippered compartment.

Maintenance

Cleaning Instructions

To maintain the longevity and appearance of your Osprey Farpoint Wheeled Travel Pack, follow these cleaning guidelines:

  • Hand Wash Only: Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Use a mild soap or specialized gear cleaner with cool water.
  • Gently scrub soiled areas with a soft brush or cloth.
  • Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
  • Hang to air dry completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Do not use bleach or harsh detergents, as these can damage the fabric and coatings.

Storage

Store your pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure it is clean and completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew growth.

Troubleshooting

Stuck Zippers

If a zipper becomes difficult to move, try applying a small amount of zipper lubricant or a graphite pencil lead to the teeth. Gently work the zipper back and forth to distribute the lubricant.

Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly

Check the wheels for any debris (e.g., hair, lint, small stones) that may be obstructing their movement. Clean the area around the wheel axles. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
