4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Battery Placement
Place the battery in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials. Ensure the battery is secured to prevent movement during operation, especially in mobile applications like RVs or boats.
4.2 Connecting the Battery
Connect the battery to your system using appropriate cables and terminals. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent arcing and overheating. The battery supports series and parallel connections:
- Parallel Connection: Up to 4 batteries can be connected in parallel to increase capacity (e.g., 4 x 12V 100Ah = 12V 400Ah).
- Series Connection: Up to 2 batteries can be connected in series to increase voltage (e.g., 2 x 12V 100Ah = 24V 100Ah).
- Combined (Series-Parallel): Up to 4P2S configuration for a maximum of 10.24kWh.
Important: When connecting batteries in series or parallel, ensure all batteries are of the same voltage and capacity, and are at a similar state of charge before connecting.
4.3 Charger Connection and Initial Charge
The ECO-WORTHY 12V/24V 20A Smart Charger automatically detects battery voltage (12V or 24V) and offers multiple current options. Follow these steps for charging:
- Connect the charger's output clamps to the battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
- Plug the charger into an AC power outlet.
- The charger will automatically detect the battery voltage. Select the desired charging current (5A/10A/15A/20A for 12V; 5A/10A for 24V) based on your battery's capacity. Refer to the charger's display for current selection.
- The charger will begin the charging process. Monitor the charging status via the charger's display or the ECO-WORTHY app.

Figure 2: The smart charger offers 6 selectable current levels for 12V and 24V batteries. For 12V, options are 5A, 10A, 15A, 20A. For 24V, options are 5A, 10A.

Figure 3: Charging efficiency comparison. The ECO-WORTHY 20A charger can fully charge a 12.8V 100Ah battery in 5 hours, compared to a common 5A charger which only charges 20% in the same time.

Figure 4: The smart charger features an internal cooling fan to maximize charging efficiency. Silent charging is available in 5A mode.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Using the Bluetooth Function
The ECO-WORTHY LiFePO4 battery includes a Bluetooth module for real-time monitoring. Download the "ECO-WORTHY" app from your smartphone's app store. Once installed, open the app and connect to your battery to view:
- Battery Voltage
- Current (charge/discharge)
- State of Charge (SOC)
- Temperature
- Individual cell voltages
- Error messages and notifications

Figure 5: The ECO-WORTHY app provides anomaly notifications and detailed battery data for quick troubleshooting.
5.2 Low-Temperature Protection
The integrated BMS includes low-temperature protection. If the charging temperature falls below 0°C (32°F), the BMS will interrupt the charging process to prevent damage to the LiFePO4 cells. Charging will resume automatically once the temperature rises above 0°C (32°F).

Figure 6: The battery features low-temperature shutdown protection. Charging is disabled below -7°C (19.4°F) and resumes above 0°C (32°F).
6. Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections. Clean as necessary.
- Storage: If storing the battery for an extended period, ensure it is charged to approximately 50% State of Charge (SOC) and stored in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.
- Cleaning: Keep the battery and charger clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Software Updates: Check the ECO-WORTHY app regularly for any available firmware updates for your battery.
