Before First Use

Basic Rice Cooking

  1. Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice.

The Gourmia GRC512 offers 7 digital one-touch presets for various cooking needs:

Steaming Function

To steam food while cooking rice or independently:

  1. Add water to the inner pot (ensure water level is below the steamer basket).
  2. Place the steamer basket into the inner pot.
  3. Arrange food to be steamed (e.g., vegetables, fish) in the steamer basket.
  4. Close the lid and select the 'Steam' preset. Adjust time if necessary using the '+' and '-' buttons.

Delay Timer

The 15-hour delay timer allows you to set the cooker to start at a later time:

  1. Prepare ingredients in the inner pot as usual.
  2. Press the 'Delay Timer' button.
  3. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired delay time.
  4. Select your desired cooking preset (e.g., 'White Rice'). The cooker will start counting down the delay time and then automatically begin cooking.

Keep Warm Function

The cooker automatically switches to 'Keep Warm' mode after most cooking cycles are complete. This function maintains the food at an optimal serving temperature without overcooking.

Cleaning and Maintenance
