Setup

1. Connect the Keyboard: Locate an available USB port on your computer (PC, Laptop, or MAC). Plug the keyboard's USB cable firmly into the USB port.
2. Automatic Recognition: The keyboard is plug-and-play and should be recognized automatically by your operating system. No additional drivers are typically required.
3. Adjust Tilt Legs: For ergonomic comfort, you can extend the adjustable tilt legs located on the underside of the keyboard.

Operating Instructions

Function Keys (FN Combinations)

The G79 keyboard features a range of function key combinations to enhance your experience. Press and hold the FN key, then press the corresponding function key.

• FN + W: Swaps the W, A, S, D keys with the Arrow Keys (↑↓←→). Press again to revert to default.
• FN + Win: Locks the left Windows key to prevent accidental presses during gaming.
• Backlight Auto-Off: The backlight turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any key to reactivate.

• FN + Page Down: Toggles backlight On/Off.
• FN + ↑ / FN + ↓: Adjusts backlight brightness (5 levels).
• FN + ← / FN + →: Adjusts the speed of dynamic backlight effects (5 levels).

Multimedia Knob Functions

The dedicated multimedia knob provides quick access to volume and lighting controls.

• Rotate Left/Right: In dynamic lighting modes (Flow, Breathing, etc.), rotates to adjust speed. In static lighting modes (Red, Blue, etc.), rotates to adjust brightness.
• Press Knob Alone: Cycles through different backlight effect modes.
• FN + Knob: Switches the knob between volume adjustment mode (volume indicator lights up) and light control mode. Rotate to adjust volume when in volume mode.

Maintenance
