3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

The FS-ST16 supports two 2S lithium batteries. Ensure correct polarity when installing. The Type-C port can be used for charging the internal batteries.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the transmitter.
  2. Insert two 18650 batteries or connect a 2S LiPo battery to the designated connector, observing polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment.
  4. To charge, connect a USB Type-C cable to the transmitter's Type-C port and a compatible USB power source.

3.2 Binding the Receiver (FS-SR8)

Binding establishes a secure communication link between the transmitter and receiver.

  1. Ensure the transmitter is powered off.
  2. Connect power to the FS-SR8 receiver.
  3. Press and hold the BIND button on the receiver. The LED on the receiver will flash rapidly.
  4. While holding the BIND button, power on the transmitter.
  5. The LED on the receiver should turn solid, indicating successful binding. Release the BIND button.
  6. Power off both the transmitter and receiver, then power them on normally to confirm the binding.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the transmitter until the screen illuminates to power on. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen shuts down.

4.2 Navigating the Display Menu
