3. Product Overview

The Joying JY-UTD10N8 is a 10.1-inch Double Din Car Stereo featuring Android 13, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for smooth performance and ample space for apps and media.

4. Installation

For detailed installation instructions, please refer to the dedicated "Installation Manual" included in your package. General considerations are provided below:

4.1 General Installation Notes

• An installation frame kit (178 x 102mm inner size) may be required depending on your vehicle.
• Special ISO harness, amplifier adapter, or CANBUS decoder might be necessary based on your car's specific situation.
• The unit does not support factory car GPS antenna, backup rear camera, Bluetooth, USB, or microphone.
• Only Joying accessories are supported for additional peripherals (DVR, OBDII scanner, reverse camera, TPMS, steering wheel controller).

5. Setup

5.1 Fast Boot

The device features a fast boot function. After the initial startup (which may take 30-40 seconds), subsequent startups will enter the user interface within 2 seconds of turning the car key.

5.2 4G Module Setup

Insert a compatible SIM card into the built-in 4G module for internet access. Note that this module does not support phone calls or SMS. Supported FDD-LTE types include B2/B4/B5/B7/B12/B13/B14/B17/B25/B26/B38/B66/B71, and TDD-LTE type B41.

5.3 GPS Navigation

The unit includes precise GPS engines and antennas for accurate positioning and real-time navigation. Offline maps can be downloaded and saved to the stereo for use in areas without internet connectivity. Mobile phone map data can also be synchronized via CarPlay/Android Auto.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 User Interface

6.2 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your mobile phone via USB cable or Bluetooth to utilize Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows for seamless integration of navigation, phone calls, and music playback on the stereo's larger screen.

6.3 Split-screen Multitasking

The device supports split-screen functionality, allowing you to run two applications simultaneously. For example, you can view navigation on one side and media playback on the other.

6.4 HDMI Output

Utilize the HDMI output for a full digital image and sound-sending interface. This allows for synchronized audio and video signals to external displays like headrest monitors, providing entertainment for passengers. The HDMI cable is not included.

6.5 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

The unit supports steering wheel controls for convenient operation, allowing you to switch songs, change radio channels, and adjust volume safely while driving. Vehicles with a CAN system may require an additional CANBUS cable.

6.6 Personalized Settings
