3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Connecting the Keyboard
- Locate the USB-C port on the back or side of the keyboard.
- Connect one end of the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port.
- Connect the other end of the USB-A connector to an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your operating system. No additional drivers are typically required for basic functionality.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Keyboard Functions
The AK680 features a 68-key layout, providing essential keys while maintaining a compact form factor. All keys support anti-ghosting, ensuring accurate input even during rapid key presses.

4.2 RGB Backlighting
The keyboard features 16.8 million color RGB backlighting with various effects. 4.3 Hot-Swappable Switches

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
- General Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the keyboard. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Between Keycaps: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps.
- Keycap Cleaning: For thorough cleaning, remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller. Wash keycaps with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
5.2 Replacing Keycaps and Switches
The AK680's hot-swappable design allows for easy replacement of keycaps and switches.
- Removing Keycaps: Use the keycap puller to gently grip and lift keycaps straight up.
- Removing Switches: After removing the keycap, use the switch puller to carefully grip the top and bottom clips of the switch and pull it straight out.
- Installing Switches: Align the new switch's pins with the holes on the PCB. Press down firmly until the switch clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
- Installing Keycaps: Align the keycap with the switch stem and press down gently until it is seated securely.

6. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
- Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
- Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out system-specific issues.
- Keys Not Registering:
- Remove the keycap and switch for the affected key. Reinstall the switch, ensuring it is properly seated and its pins are not bent.
- Clean any debris that might be obstructing the switch mechanism.
- RGB Backlighting Not Working:
- Check if the backlighting is turned off or set to minimum brightness using the keyboard's function keys.
- Ensure the keyboard is receiving sufficient power from the USB port.
